    Recalibration of Charge Port

Thanks for the feedback. when you say adjusting it in or out, can you clarify what that means? how would i make it more "protruding out" vs "protruding in"? or did you mean moving it around? Your message made me uncover that while I can press on the port to open, i can no longer "flick" it to...

    Recalibration of Charge Port

Hi folks, My charge port door operates fine, the light comes on when charging, it opens and closes OK, charges OK. however there is an error message on the dashboard: "charge port needs service, contact service when convenient" I had this issue late last year as well, and a service technician...

Model X IRS 100% Deduction “Hummer Loophole” - 2018 Edition

very helpful thread, glad to see others taking advantage of this as well. I had done this in the past with Suburban and an Infinity QX56. i'm picking up my 4th tesla (model x) and just realized one thing: do i need to title it under the business name? or personal name is fine. i couldn't find...

New Model X Configuration and Pricing

i think you're guessing as well. logically they are not going to change the production line to change the configuration for a handful of cars..... the only way you are right is they have a "switch over" date, where every car after going into production line after a certain date will get the PUP...

New Model X Configuration and Pricing

what is the chance that ppl who ordered end of June, without PUP ($6k for Model X) and not in production yet, will just get PUP? I don't see them retooling their production line to include PUP by default, and then making a change for cars without PUP to remove the features.... doesn't make...

Service Interval Question (Why service at all)

Hi folks, i tried searching and couldn't find an answer. We currently have a P85D that we regularly service. Shortly after that purchase we also bought a used 85D with a few thousand miles on it at the time to use for road trips (so we avoid putting too many miles on P85D. currently already at...

    My P85D doesn't go past 133MPH. I thought the limit was 155MPH?

to clarify. I already did the TSB you are referring to. this was done late last year after wk057 pointed it out. when i first reported the issue to Tesla, they gave me the following excuses: 1. you are not reading the speed limit correctly, and that sometimes the big dial can lag (I have no...

    My P85D doesn't go past 133MPH. I thought the limit was 155MPH?

bringing thread back from the dead... last week I had the opportunity to try going past 130 again. To my surprise, it DID NOT LET ME GO PAST 129. The feeling was the same as before, where it was limited, just like the loaner fleet limited to 80mph. I was furious. a quick note to the SC...

    My P85D doesn't go past 133MPH. I thought the limit was 155MPH?

I bought the P85D not because it was an EV. It was the promise of: 1. 3.2s 0-60 2. 155 MPH top speed 3. autopilot The car just happens to be electric. There are many parts of the car I may not use frequently, but when I do decide to use it, it should be per spec, and not an embarrassing...
