PSEG and change to RLM time of use Billing

Got it, makes sense. Because we mainly work from home and are often out on weekends, I’m not sure that would necessarily apply to us, but I’ll have to try doing the math.

PSEG and change to RLM time of use Billing

Based on the link that you posted, I believe the 1500 just goes towards any electrical upgrades needed in the house (i.e. breaker upgrades, outlet installation) but not the charger itself. I'm not sure I understand your RLM math. You're saying that you only need to charge 83 KwH/month to make...

    M3P VS BMW I4 M50

I thought the throttle response of the i4 felt good, I find the Model 3 at one extreme (too twitchy/sensitive for me) and the Polestar 2 was at the opposite extreme, it actually felt kind of 'weak' (even though it's not) because of how far down on the accelerator you need to press in order to...

    M3P VS BMW I4 M50

lol, not quite. I do have an i4 on preorder but I've never worked for or owned a BMW or any other luxury car. Model 3 doesn't look like a regular car, feel like a regular car, drive like a regular car. Interior is nothing but a tablet, and the suspension/chassis is terrible for the price range...

    M3P VS BMW I4 M50

The Model 3 is exactly the kind of car for people who don’t enjoy cars lol. The model 3 has plenty of strengths but every single comparison review has the driving experience better in the i4, except straight line 0-60.

    BMW using a brushed motor

I spent a long time looking into the Model 3, but ultimately decided on an i4 edrive40. The overall driving experience / adaptive suspension was in another league (and I'm not a BMW fanboy, never owned a car more than half as expensive as either the Model 3 or i4). I have to echo that coasting...

Auto express M3 long range review. [thread]

In US you still get 7500 off that, so it makes it an easier decision

Auto express M3 long range review. [thread]

If you compare the M3 and the i4, each car wins in a lot of categories. But a ‘rattling ride’ the i4 is not; in terms of suspension, handling, and road noise the i4 wins hands down.

Should I keep my SR+ order, or Re lease another BMW 330?

I was also going to echo whether you actually need to spend $40k on a car if you never drive. What is your definition of ‘smooth’? If you want a quiet, comfy drivetrain you should look into an accord hybrid, it feels like driving on a cloud and it’s 15-20k less. I found the Model 3 test drive to...

    Ride Quality: M3LR vs M3P

Ride Comfort isn’t a strength of the 3. You’ll need to spend an extra 2-3k on aftermarket suspension + whatever the shop will charge to install it. Sure it feels ‘smooth’ at first because there is no engine, but if you are driving over bad roads you’ll feel it.

When is 2022 Model 3 releasing?

Isn’t feeling disconnected/mushy more related to the steering than the suspension? I thought Lexus was one of the cushiest cars you can buy, at least the 350. And the common consensus I’ve seen online is that a C class is way more comfortable than a model 3.

When is 2022 Model 3 releasing?

Yeah, I guess my main point was that I’d like some mode, whether it’s via adaptable suspension or one time configuration when ordering, to make this car feel more like a family car/daily driver for commutes. When weaving in and out of traffic at 80mph on the freeway I’m sure it feels amazing...

When is 2022 Model 3 releasing?

I have an Accord Hybrid, which is obviously not a sports car but I’d say that not only is it a super smooth drive, it’s also quieter unless I am rapidly accelerating.

Tesla Test Drive experience at Short Hills Mall, NJ

Thanks, I can confirm I went as well and the Short Hill experience is way, way better. You actually get to drive the car! And AP was enabled. I think FSD might’ve been but I didn’t try it.

When is 2022 Model 3 releasing?

I felt like a bobble head. And the road wasn’t even bad. I understand the tire pressure can be modified but it’s not exactly a comfortable ride.
