The GPS antenna is in the rear window glass.

The antenna is probably in the pano crossbar which doesn't exist in the same fashion on the glass or solid roof... Just like a lot of other things, such as no AC to the rear child seats, they "could" fix but have not made it a priority to do so.

My basic premise is that most people who are willing to pay full price for a Tesla today are going to want whatever new version there is in 3 years.

I am pondering similar and have decided to likely go with lease for the following reasons: Payments similar to 72-month loan with low down payment 7500 credit added to residual value, get benefit now. Low down payment Future-proofing - think about what a 2014 Tesla (pre-AP1, pre-dual motors)...

I had this issue - SC replaced the GPS antenna, and no further issues. Trouble is the GPS antenna is integral to the rear glass so they have to replace the window.

I had this issue and they replaced rear window glass with embedded GPS antenna and it is fixed.

I have had two steering racks replaced in 8,000 miles. He is not alone here. And I have no curb rash. Some of the commentary around here is starting to sound like the Land Rover/Range Rover forums... if you complain about any problems with your car, then you "don't get it". Sheesh.

Or take it to CarMax... They will give you an offer (if they buy Tesla), and then you have the option to pay the difference between the offer and owed amount on lease. If it's less than the incentive you are offering it's an easy way out!

They are all supposed to be limited. Autopilot restricted to 80mph, although passing excursions to a hard cap of 85mph are allowed. The last three loaners I've driven were all the same.

+1 Although I don't think they take cars in just to update firmware, but if it's there for anything else one of the service tasks is to apply the latest FW build that is meant for your car. Some versions only apply to certain equipment you may or may not have as well from what I understand.

I live in Arizona, so there's a little more of a heat rejection problem here, but... I did 35% PhotoSync to side windows, hatch, and the pano panels. I then added a second layer of 50% 3M Color Stable to all but the pano and it matches up very nicely. They said it meters around 15%. If you...
