Yes, sorry for the confusion. My Model 3 Performance built in late March 2019 has the APH3 option code which equals HW2.5.

Quick update. Checked the options on my Tesla via the API and I have APH3, so even late March builds are still Autopilot HW3. I bought FSD, so I will be in line for a retrofit (later this year is my guess.)

Agreed. However who knows how long it will take to get the upgrade installed and if they will change any sensors. If the HW3 date was still some time in the future I would just move ahead and get my M3P now so I could enjoy it. However, since we are probably a few weeks or a month away from HW3...

I am going to try to cancel the M3P order I made on March 17th (delivery date scheduled, but not matched to a VIN yet) tomorrow and then place my order again once HW3 is officially announced.
