@jjrandorin and @tm1v2 thank you very much for your insights. I like to think it’s a good deal but the market is so crazy now it does not make sense.
I’ll sit on my SR+ until things settle down and hopefully the prices go back to normal and I can get a new AWD LR that I prefer.
@boriszima I’m actually considering this again but with a different car.
There is a local Alfa Romeo dealership that has a 2020 M3 Stealth Performance with 40k miles that has been sitting on their lot for 2.5 months. The price has dropped from $58k to $51k and I’m considering going in and...
I purchased Tesla solar panels for my house and signed the 10 year contract with the Massachusetts SMART program where I receive a check every month for my solar production.
If I sell my house, obviously the new owner will get the benefit of the free solar generation, but is there any...
Wow I signed a contract in April 2021 and the rate is $0.0929/kWh with free evening charging. I really hope they adjust the rates when up for renewal in the spring this year.
So, Tesla would not remove FSD from the used car so it would not be worth spending the $12k for the ‘upgrade’ to the older car. Decided to just stick with my 2021 M3SR+ for now.
To note, the check looked very different than the Eversource SMART checks.
Also, did I read on here that someone was able to enable direct deposit for SMART checks? Curious how to enable this.
I have received many SMART payments but randomly on 12/3 I received a check from the same NSTAR ELECTRIC - EAST DISTRIB DBA EVERSOURCE ENERGY for $300 and I’m not sure what it’s for.
Currently I have Tesla solar panels (no PowerWalls) and a Tesla M3 so it must be for one of those. I didn’t...
10 months after install, Tesla finally came out to install the snow mitigation devices. The panels don’t look quite as clean as they did before but hopefully this solves avalanches which ripped off my gutter.
I thought you could remove FSD from used but apparently that’s only on new. I also confirmed by calling Tesla. I would only make the 2021=>2019 move if the net difference was $1k but not worth it to me for the $11k since they won’t remove FSD.
A few months ago I purchased my 2021 SR+ for $39k after taxes. Vroom is offering me $45k.
I’m seeing a 2019 M3P stealth with 17k miles and a clean history on Tesla’s site for $56k (or $46k without FSD). I’ve been shooting myself in the foot for not getting AWD while the price was low as I live...
