Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

The point is our cars sounded good as is, then sounded like crap all of a sudden with seats not changing

Sound system lost it's "punch" after latest update

When I first got my Model 3 in October, system sounded great. Then I noticed i was having to turn the sound up WELL past 50% to hear the same volume. Thought it was just my imagination. Then I noticed the quality sounded like crap... (better than alarm clock, but I agree with that analogy)...

No AWD for Model 3 until next year confirmed

I think the reason then went with a basic version was not just because it's easier and they didn't want to sticker shock some with the addons. It was because they knew a lot of us would NOT order a non awd or non larger battery / performance version. It's their way of being able to come...

Should Tesla allow this level of customization?

I know all that. I stated my thoughts that SOME may want to adjust. You don't, so that's great, but I don't appreciate your condescending "These are cars, not tweaking toys." There are many things in all cars, including Teslas that are incremental. Just because you don't want it, doesn't...

How many kWh can they squeeze into the Model 3...?

You're correct, I shouldn't have said "moving parts." But fewer parts (layers) that are required with Cathode/Anode style batteries.

Should Tesla allow this level of customization?

It's not useless if you care more about how it feels when it decelerates or "coasts" or how much you do or don't want put back in. Some people like to coast like an ICE vehicle. The feel of regeneration is a turn-off for many and there's a huge difference with and without it. I personally like...

How many kWh can they squeeze into the Model 3...?

yea, I know, so I'm wondering why wouldn't they be thinking about it, as it erases MANY of the concerns of conventional batteries. With FEWER parts and (apparently less expensive, due to complications), I would think that's the next leap, not how many layers and crap you can jam into a current...

How many kWh can they squeeze into the Model 3...?

I believe if Elon and JB are the innovators in new battery useage... at least new in cars, they will go with SOMETHING ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. The current battery tech requires layering for cooling purposes, etc. That drastically limits what it can do. I'm just wondering how closely they are...

Should Tesla allow this level of customization?

There are only 2 choices of regeneration on the Tesla. And this lets you do it by percentages, which is far more specific. I don't recall the Tesla's turning off completely at 100% charge, but I'll take your word for it, as I rarely charge to that amount. I used it as much for "brake helping"...

Should Tesla allow this level of customization?

Being able to change the brake regeneration is awesome!! And front to rear wheel torque is beyond helpful. It looks very user friendly and obviously it's not just a low end machine as it pulls on the Ferrari. Beautiful car inside and out.

    Rimac Automobili Concept_One

WOW!!! Customization is amazing. I really love how you can customize the exact amount of regenerative breaking. I love the Tesla but the interactive abilities of your Rimac are incredible and I'm guessing that part isn't what costs a lot of money so others could do it as well. Regardless...

    P100D for Sale Now

Why is the KM so much different? I know it seems small but 0-60mph in 2.5, but it takes 2 tenths of a second more to go 2 mph more? 100km is 62.1 mph. The car is really accelerating at 60, so to go to 62.1 shouldn't take two tenths of a second more.

    How does 100d get 380 miles when 90 doesn't do 300.

Yea it was just the 380 or 613km that made no sense with a 100, but that's their overly optimistic guess
