    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

Awesome research! Thank you. And I’m a big patron of Abstract Ocean, last three Tesla’s I’ve outfitted mostly with their accessories.

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

Let me reiterate, what I’m using operates flawlessly. It’s the same device I’ve been using since my 2018 Model 3 for two years (sold and broke even), then used in my 2020 Model Y that I had for a year and sold (for a $2800 profit) just last November, and i’m now using on my spanking new Model Y...

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

In case you’ve missed it, this is the hub I’m using without issue (so far)… on my Jan 7 2022 Model Y (Intel Atom processor, not AMD). It’s what I’ve been using on my past 2018 Model 3 and 2020 Model Y cars. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PH2WXKT/?th=1

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

See the 3 port hub I’m using (post on Jn 12th), I’m having no issues on my new Jan 7th Performance Model Y.

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

I think this might be the issue (hub quality). I got to thinking after making my post last night... I've been using this hub for the last 3 years, music, Dash Cam, and occasionally with a controller for gaming -- all on one port. Never had an issue. If anything today's MCU should be a better...

    2022 Model Y - USB Data Ports - USB-A Glovebox Only

I just sold my Oct 2020 Performance Model Y in Nov 2021 (made a $2800 profit), turned around and bought the exact same Model Y again, same color and everything. Took delivery in last week. And in the process the car has about a dozen small improvements added in the last year, center console...

Solar Roof + Powerwalls | Oregon Roof #3

Yeah, that was quite the thing! Granted new crews being trained and deployed here in Oregon – and going fast from project to project. Our gutters really weren't too banged up, but I did have a 5 gallon bucket full of materials that I finally had to clean out after they left. They meant to do...

Solar Roof + Powerwalls | Oregon Roof #3

House is cocked almost exactly 45deg SE. No PV on the street side. Thank you. The house is cocked almost exactly 45° NE. No PV on the street side.

    Now I can’t edit it. :/

Solar Roof + Powerwalls | Oregon Roof #3

Yes, three Powerwalls, two Delta inverters, and the Tesla Solar Gateway. Just need to finish cleaning up the drywall now.

Solar Roof + Powerwalls | Oregon Roof #3

It's a 12.3 kWh system, and they estimate it will generate just shy of 11,000 kW annually. Oregon winters (this far north), not much when it's rainy out, but even on cloudy rainy days (unless it's really stormy and dark), I get a little something most days. This week around 3.8kWh / day. The...

Solar Roof + Powerwalls | Oregon Roof #3

With weather challenges and the underlayment fully battle tested – including frost, ice, hail, and of course plenty of wind and rain (Oregon after all), we were commissioned December 15th, 2020. The team did a fantastic job. Couldn't be happier!

Tesla Charging Cable Organizer vs Amazon alternative?

Maybe an old post now, but this is the answer the OP was looking for... and what he wanted to know. I’m not a fan of the organizers on Amazon, where it forces the handle to stick out and up so far, nearly perpendicular to the wall. Most garages don’t have much room between the car and the wall...

Torque Steer in the Model Y?

Okay, after more testing on different roads, I think I can say I *don't* have torque steer. It might have been the previous roads, I'm not sure. That being said, the Model Y does tend to float a bit more on launch than the Model 3 does (which is very planted). None-the-less... Still in love. :)

Torque Steer in the Model Y?

Thanks all! As I reflect on the 4 Model Y’s I’ve driven now, all have had this issue, all on different roads, all were Performance Models. The fact that, so far, no one else is detecting this, makes me wonder if I’m loosing my marbles. Yet I know what a stable/rock solid launch should feel...
