Looking to do matte wrap in San Diego, have some questions..

I took mine to 5 Point Auto Spa. They did great job. Took 2 cars there. There will always be a few areas that around bottom and corners that may unpeel over time, that's just how wraps are. But they are great in fixing it. I get compliments all the time on the wrap.

Hi, sorry didn't see your message. I just called Vossen and they said the 20 x 9 for the VFS-1 is 25.8 lbs per wheel.

    Model S / X: Vossen VFS-1, gloss black, 20" x 9", 5 x 120, 35ET + Continental DWS 06, looks brand new

Thanks Silver. I could ship, just would like to avoid the hassle. But, I'd need to sell both since I'm trying to clear up my garage. I'll keep you in mind though.

    TPMS Question

Good idea. I'd recommend buying a second set of TPMS. The sensors can be damaged if constantly uninstalled/reinstalled from the rim.

TPMS Fault Error with New OEM TPMS

I had a similar problem with my Model S after I replaced two sensors in the rear. During relearn procedure at Tesla Service Center, they kept the old sensors in the trunk and the car apparently relearned to one of the old sensors. Three of four sensors came on during the drive, but the fourth...

    TPMS Sensors

My Model S is built the exact same month and year and have had to learn a great deal about TPMS after buying aftermarket rims. The sensors are not proprietary to Tesla and are the Continental TIS-01 VDO Redi-sensor, 433 mhz, Sensor Number A2C10262100 (part 1074812-00-B) or A2C10261600 (part...

TPMS after switching rims and offset

I will answer my own thread in case this helps someone in the future who stumbles on this thread. Issue has been resolved. The cause was (1) TPMS sensors installed upside down by the tire shop (the sensors are installed in a valve stem adapter aka "shorties" b/c otherwise the OE valve stems...

    2021 TPMS Sensors

Took the car to Tesla Service Center and had the relearn procedure done. Issue resolved. So it was a combination of 2 things: (1) Discount Tires installing the sensors upside down in the adapter, causing intermittent signal that would drop off every few days; and (2) Tesla doing the previous...

    2021 TPMS Sensors

Thanks. I think I know what the issue was and hopefully I will be able to resolve it. For anyone that may have switched to after market rims and experiencing TPMS issues: Background: I swapped the OE tires/wheels with Vossen VFS-1 20 x 9 with 35 ET. No issues with TPMS sensors. I then...

    2021 TPMS Sensors

Thanks, Pabla. I just started having same issues after replacing my rear wheels and tires with more aggressive offset and width. The Model S would only recognize my front two sensors, but not the rear. This would be my third set of wheels in the rear, so makes sense this is the problem. I...

TPMS after switching rims and offset

Forgot to mention that I have done the wheel reconfiguration from the service menu and allowed everything to shut down and restart the car after about 5 minutes. Driven for almost 2 weeks now, with up to 45 minute drives at highway speeds, yet still car will recognize only one of the rear 2...

TPMS after switching rims and offset

Anyone have experience dealing withTPMS sensor fault error after swapping rims to different size and offset? I have a 2021 Model S Performance (Raven). About a year ago, I switched to aftermarket tires and 20 x 9 rims with +35 ET for all 4 weels and used aftermarket Continental TIS-01 433Mhz...

    2021 TPMS Sensors

The TPMS sensors probably are not compatible. The Tesla Technician I spoke with the other day says you have to use the Continental brand 433 mhz TPMS. I previously got a set from TSportline for $300. Pricey, but at least cheaper than the OEM ones you were quoted. And they are the Continental...
