    Octopus no charging plan

There is no update on Agile pricing for tomorrow either which is strange it’s usually available soon after 16:00.

EV's to pay Road Tax from April 2025

Seems a bit unfair to tax it on vehicles already registered, they never did that when they reformed the VED in 2017. Will old diesels registered before then still be £20 per year? Seems a bit daft if this is correct. We all knew VED was coming at some point but I thought that it would be phased...

Tyre Blow Out on 7 mth old Model 3 …. Not happy

How do you expect the car to warn you that you are about to have a blow out? Can any car on the market do that? All cars have pressure monitoring systems and some give tyre termperature information but if the blow out is sudden and not caused by driving on a slow puncture I can't see how any car...

Tyre Blow Out on 7 mth old Model 3 …. Not happy

We would all be upset, at the fright of the incident happening as something like that is scary regardless of what caused it, and also upset at having to foot the bill for a pretty expensive new tyre and refurbished wheel. And yes we're all gald you're not hurt as that is the main thing, tyres...

Tyre Blow Out on 7 mth old Model 3 …. Not happy

The tyre looks to be split here possibly from previous kerb damage, I know I pinched a tyre similarly on my old 3 and the new style wheels have less rim protection that the old ones, but it could be damage from the blow out. You can’t blame Tesla, Pirelli maybe but they are a good tyre brand and...

    2022 (72) M3P musings from a 2020 M3P owner

The wind noise was the best improvement on my 2022 over my 2020, not a big difference at normal speeds but if you were going fast on a windy day (which we get plenty of in North Scotland) there was an annoying buffeting from the drivers window that is not there in the 2022 car, its silent in...

Approved Bodyshop L&I Perth or Mitchell Inglis Glasgow

Car was collected today by a transporter and on it's way to MI, will just have to wait and see if they find anything else once inspected, I'm also a bit wary of the rear suspension as the rear wheel took a fair impact. Hopefully it will not be too long for spare parts but have been warned not to...

    Andersen EV charger support

Is their biggest objective not to make money, their fees are eye watering. From being a unsecure creditor several times it's rare that there is any dividend left to distribute after they have been paid and the banks and secured creditors have their money. It's annoying the banks get their money...

Approved Bodyshop L&I Perth or Mitchell Inglis Glasgow

Unfortunately had a bump in my 3, the 3rd party at fault and I'm gutted as the car is only just over a month old. Not sure how this no fault incident will affect my future premiums? Anyway the closest 2 authorised bodyshops are L&I Perth (132 miles away) and Mitchell Inglis Glasgow (190 miles...

    WBAC Shock

Glad I sold my M3P when I did to WBAC, they paid £49400 eight weeks ago, revalued today at £39600 😮 I was surprised, they never tried to reduce the price at all and seemed really keen on buying the car. But this also means I will likely have taken a big hit on the new replacement M3P 😖

    Granny charger

I could do, but normally only do 15-25 miles every day, there's not much point plugging it in every night to top up such a small amount, Even after 5 days I still have around 35-40% remaining which should get around 100 miles which is still plenty for any emergencies.

    M3P differences since 2019

I would agree there is no one single huge change and the car is much the same inside and out but the amount of overall updates plus better MIC build quality, plus new warranty and battery, if you get a good trade in price the 2022 is the better car.

    M3P differences since 2019

Recently went from a 2020 pre update M3P to a 2022 M3P so likely came from the same car as you. Power tailgate, heated steering wheel, heated wipers, heatpump, laminated glass, dechrome, slightly larger battery, better centre console, Ryzen, lithium low voltage battery, hairpin motor, updated...

Octopus Energy, including Intelligent and go

Luckily I'm still on 5p/14.5p until January, but if the off peak were to jump significantly from the current 7.5p I might still be better off changing now before the rise.
