Best way to use mini split heating heat pump?

That where zoning really comes into play. You can keep the bedroom at a different temperature than other parts of the house and do not necessarily have to keep adjusting the temperature in each zone.

Best way to use mini split heating heat pump?

Heat pumps are common in our area and our HVAC company has installed hundreds replacing both propane and electric strip heating systems. You have come to the correct conclusion. Heat pumps work like air conditioners in reverse. Cycling the power on and off at different times of the day or...

PPF noticable for just the front bumper?

I did the front bumper only and regret not doing the hood at the same time. Now I have several scratches on the hood where rocks coming from trucks on the highway have bounced off the hood and left scratches in the paint where PPF would probably have protected it. The lower angle of the front...

Charge Rate Reduced - Known issue

Same problem with my 2018 Model 3 LR. I thought the problem was on a public Tesla wall charger, but then tried it at home at 48A and it exhibited the exact same symptoms. Takes a few minutes with the current going up and back down to zero before it finally gives the charge rate reduced...

    Ohmmu Battery & 2020.28.6 update

Received my replacement Ver. 2 battery 10/8 and installed on 10/9. So far so good.

    Charging with a gas generator?

Not a problem charging my Model 3 with a 5kw diesel generator and I figured out my mileage with the diesel consumption of the generator to be about 25 MPG. Better than my previous ICE car!

Major Flaw - No Charge Port in Front (towing)

I've noticed the Electrify America chargers at our local WalMart are pull through. The cybertruck may be equipped with a CCS connector or even better for all of us maybe Tesla will be selling a Tesla - CCS adapter by then.

    183V @ 32A - 22 mi/h

If your actual supply voltage coming into the building is indeed 208, then your voltage drop is 25 volts and at 32 amps that is 800 watts being dissipated somewhere and I would certainly be concerned as that is going to produce a lot of heat somewhere particularly if it is at a connection point...

    Charging in Tyler, TX

I would suggest stopping at the supercharger in Lindale and top off and you will be good for a stay in Tyler. It is located right on I20 at the Colin Street Bakery so a good chance to pick up some goodies while you are there. I did stop at the new service center and I don’t think they are...

Houston 18" and 19" Model 3 OEM Rims/ Tires for Sale

I may be interested in the 18" tires or possibly the tires and wheels depending on price.

Poll on Model 3 Air Vents

After a year of use I can't even think about going back to the old spot cooler vents. I just wish the rear vent would stay on permanently when I select it from the touchscreen even when no one is seated in the back. We need cooling back there in the Texas heat regardless if anyone is back...

    Should We Be Concerned?

Purchasing a car is a big investment for most and a 10-20 minute test drive is hardly sufficient to determine if it is a right fit. We have rented both Model S and Model 3 for several days before finally purchasing our Model 3. This is a much better way to decide on a car. You can bring it...

    $3800 AC repair bill??

I can't imagine that the compressor would be driven by a DC motor. More likely it's a 3 phase AC motor driven by a DC to AC converter.

    M3 in Yukon at -39°C

Good luck running a heat pump in those temperatures and recovering any heat from the outside. Not going to happen.
