Acceleration Boost (AB) or 20" induction wheels for 2023 new Model Y LR

my mistake, you are correct. I apologize

Acceleration Boost (AB) or 20" induction wheels for 2023 new Model Y LR

Not true. I had Chill and Sport before AB. That didn't change, it just shows in Software now as included package and yes, I felt the improvement the morning and needed to allow the SW to update and whatever toggle the code that allows faster throttle response time and quicker ramp in current...

Acceleration Boost (AB) or 20" induction wheels for 2023 new Model Y LR

i have had my new 2023 MYLR since May, and just paid for AB, since my soon to be Ex just got her used 2020 MYLR with AB. I found the MY already quick, similar to my old P85+, AB didn't feel much more powerful to me vs. before. Then again exes old car was a Signature Model X P90DL. Perhaps I...

3-month FSD 'free' on new HW4 cars is useless

I paid for EAP and won't for self driving and got HW4 with HW3 cameras. I still don't have even summon which was common on our Signature Model X. So dumb to remove redundant safety features.

    My experience upgrading to MCU2

I'll be honest, I paid for MCU2 on my 2014 P85+ and P90DL MX Sig. Having it on my Model S was great. But then I rented a Model Y from Hertz. Drving for 6months with MCU2 on an old car wasn't for me so I sold it and bought a new MYLR. The new owner now gets a MCu2 w/XM and 110,000 miles on a...

Acceleration Boost (AB) or 20" induction wheels for 2023 new Model Y LR

I'm not saying you are wrong about anything. Our Sig ModelX in just Lud is super quick AF. My old P85+ felt like a 85 Camaro or TransAm. I went with the MYLR 7 seater because we needed the extra butt room, but for anything other than the longest trips, we will still use the X, plus that car...

    No Connectivity says my MY

Stupid App update for those damn rewards is what borked it on mine. All fixed now

2022 Model Y Performance Rear Ended, totaled?

Likely totalled. The front and rear ends are single piece castings, but the cost to repair the casting, the bumper shel, probable damages DU, Insurance will write it off. Then again strip that baby for spare parts a known issue with Tesla Service. there's value in trim pieces and the MCU

    No Connectivity says my MY

according to my App, My car was last seen 20 hours ago despite driving it to work 6 hours ago. So there's that to consider, Tesla Server side issue?

Acceleration Boost (AB) or 20" induction wheels for 2023 new Model Y LR

Contemplating AB; as to why not fork over $4k for MYP? MYP doesn't have a 7 seat option.

Finally drove a Model Y…it was incredible!!

The MYLR is quick, but downright sluggish compared to our Signature Model X in Ludicrous mode, not the Ludicrous+. I can feel the SW lock on accelleration in a MYLR w/o AB. I just can't justify AB to my wife or kids who tell me its a waste of money.

Model Y 2021 Complete Battery Failure at 18k Miles

You Need not wait: https://www.dca.ca.gov/acp/index.shtml Please research the limits on lemon law even 18m later, if they can't fix it in a "reasonable amount of time" you get a new car or refund. At least that's in California.
