Back when I was still trying to buy Model Y, I did select the trade-in Request Callback option. Never got a call returned either.

Performance now is 1k cheaper than Stealth since Tesla will not honor price drop for it. I had LR on order since March then upgraded to Stealth in early June. By end of July not a single person at Tesla would at least tell me if it would even be built, and encouraged me to switch to another...

I ended up just cancelling my order after failing to get a straight answer out of anybody (including Mark) concerning Stealth. Will be going with an ICE car for now and maybe will revisit Tesla in the future. Good luck everyone in getting that Stealth!

They did that initially, as this was ok when M3 was being ordered. I think with time the new directive came down to everyone to make sure not to make referral retroactive. I've tried twice to get referral added.

Yes its same as for M3, and you can order via referral code. But you need to cancel your existing order and reorder using referral link. At this time Tesla is refusing to add referral to orders placed before it became available for MY.

I would switch too, but I live in a flood zone so I don't want lowered suspension, and certainly not lost range due to Ubers.

He emailed me yesterday that he doesn't know if Stealth will be manufactured, and suggested to switch to another config.

There have been conflicting reports that stealth would not be manufactured anymore. When I contacted Tesla and asked, the person I spoke with said he doesn't know what will happen with stealth and recommended for me to change the order.

What the hell?!? It would have been at least common courtesy to let those with outstanding orders be informed about this. I have had nothing but silence since I put the order in back in March, and silence again when I upgraded to stealth. A simple phone call offering to change to another...

My request got ignored, twice. I didn't get a rejection, or email, or text. Just that every time I asked I was told that the request is the system, and they are just too busy to apply it.

Why would this not be an issue in the near future? And why does adding rear cross traffic function REQUIRE losing some other safety feature?

I thought sales tax is collected in place where the car will be registered, not where it's purchased? Is this not the case with Tesla?
