    Colorado invites

Got my invite yesterday, want to hold out for dual motor but not sure what actual "options" will be included with it. Has this been posted somewhere that I missed? Trying to decide what to do here, soon...

Multi-Rider Doubles MPG: How would you make the 3 shell attract extra riders?

Just toss on VR goggles and have the choice to face or not face others, play a game instead maybe, problem solved all around.

    Postpone New Car Purchase?

My Leaf lease is up in about a year, will fall back to the Jeep Wrangler full time until my 3 is ready :)

Tesla Model 3 Fully Autonomous ?

How does the AP decide course of action given a "no win" situation? Something/someone is going to get hit. Take the hit head-on since the car knows it can survive since the crash is determined to be within it's safety parameters? Hard veer and potentially collide with a non-involved car...

    Is HUD a bad idea?

So long as the HUD doesn't have pop-up ads, I'm in :)

Do you have a charging location?

I have a J1772 one for my Leaf that I would imagine will work fine for the M3.

Fiat can do it in 12!

This is the desired response that Tesla/Elon wants to see. I am very much onboard with the whole master plan approach they have taken, showing the world (and most importantly other auto makers) that EVs will not only work but will be embraced. Big keys include driving range at a reasonable...

    No sound, no soul?

I like the fact that my super-quiet Leaf can take most of the cars/trucks up here that just have to pull up beside me at the light up here (yes, small town place, one light on the highway). No big revving noise or stinky smoke but I love full torque at 0MPH.

Any thoughts about a V2H option for the M3?

I love this thought that the Powerwall would let you piggyback onto the car, allowing for both charging and discharging. Solves several problems at once and creates a linkage between Tesla products. The car is, after-all, a rather large Powerwall with wheels and autopilot...

Any thoughts about a V2H option for the M3?

The two products don't really compete though. For $3K the powerwall gives me a great way to store/use electricity (solar or from the grid) or for $35K the Model 3 gives me a great ride with some extraordinary feature. Oh, and by the way, it could be used as backup to power the house. Thing...

Any thoughts about a V2H option for the M3?

Our power went out on Friday out here for about 5-6 hrs and I was reading that my little old Leaf had enough juice to power the house for much longer than that. Was curious if Tesla Motors was thinking about this kind of application as I started looking for backup generators and then...

How long was your wait in line? (I think we were at the slowest store..)

Denver, arrived at 8:00 to a deceptive line (store is in a mall), looked like a dozen people and I was told to head upstairs. Saw a secondary line of about 80 people, figured that was pretty good, got the end and was told to head outside in the snow. The line out there was about another 100...

    Which color would you choose?

Don't think I'll know until I can see the overall car with options. I'm very much a dark color person and the darker colors are great but could look strange unless the rims/wheels are properly colored. Not sure on the cost of all that, so, will have to wait a bit I guess...

    Where's the charge port?

Maybe there will be a plug-less option that would use inductive charging. The charger in my garage is set up to charge my Leaf (front end) so will have to decide how to handle a read-left port...

By the way, no spare tire? right?

My Leaf came with a special inflator and a can of sealant that you attach to it that will inflate the tire and seal the puncture. Nice not having to lug a spare around but still haven't gotten to road test how well it actually works (hope I don't have too...)
