Mine was a simple-ish install (200amp box, enough space for the breaker, and just ran through the attic for ~25'-30'). It was somewhere around $500-$600, so I'd expect yours to be quite a bit less with only a 1' run.

I agree - this 5% update you can feel easily vs. the last one. It was almost like the same surprise feeling the first time I punched it after the car was delivered.
