2020.32.3: Way too fast through curves

They probably want to see how often drivers override the behavior to test the threshold that has the fewest / satisfies the most drivers.

Will Lockdown's Lower Pollution Levels Lead To Higher Demand For EVs?

Higher demand? No, people are even poorer after covid blows over, and not investing into EVs unless they were already in a market for it. So you're more likely to see a reduction in EV purchases than if Covid had not occurred. On the other hand, it's more likely that governments will use the...

WSJ: Musk Called Out for Using SpaceX Resources for Boring Co.

Cross discipline knowledge transfer is one of the greatest techniques to find out of the box solutions in any industry. The fact that there's stock makes it effectively paid consultation, which everyone does, just like licensing technology with support. If there is a stockholder out there who...

Cruise conducts 200,000 hours of simulation autonomous driving per day

Soon self driving developers will pay to embed random vehicles (horses, carriages) appearing in our MMOs, and occasionally plowing into players. Win/Win!

Cruise conducts 200,000 hours of simulation autonomous driving per day

Just train it on GTA V which has plenty of unpredictable behavior :D

How many amps can you get from the 12V system for emergency situations?

Did anyone note the proper bolt size and thread to connect to the terminals without unscrewing the original bolt on the DC/DC terminals?

    2020.8.1

I like the front rear braking bias setting, unfortunately, this is one case where it's nice to have a big physical dial to change that while driving. Though being able to set different bias settings based on your GPS location around a track would be interesting, you can tune it to each part of...

Mustang Mach E is a Gamechanger - My Opinion

It's true, but that's more a result of the direct to customer model, without a dealer as a middleman checking on the product from the factory, the customer becomes responsible for that. I'm pretty used to owning that process for all my other purchases, (computers, electronics, houses, decor)...

Mustang Mach E is a Gamechanger - My Opinion

I think that if you look at any new EV manufacturer, anyone can match the specs of a Tesla vehicle with existing technology, but they cannot necessarily do that as profitably (we're speaking margin, not company profit, think Nio who outsources their manufacturing and their situation and as you...

    New update on Teslafi: 2019.32.12.3

It's been that way for 3 revisions at least, I actually would prefer it since the tesla app usually opens faster than the myq, and there's no delay before closing. The MyQ also had issues in the past such as erroneously notifying me the garage door was open while I was at work (it was just an...

    P100D Value Loss 70k in 1 year.

The trick is to drive the cars a lot longer. I paid 36k for a 2010 STI, and when I sold it 8 years later to get my Model S75, I got 22k for it so around 2k a year. I am pretty sure it'll take a bit hit after the first 4 years, but I think from years 5-8, it really won't make a big difference...

Are cops lenient on Model 3s?

100%. The traction control also works incredibly fast to prevent any wheelspin so when I first got my Tesla, I would floor it 0-30 everywhere I went, something that would have involved a lot of noise if I tried that in my STI.

    Tesla moments

In the Bay Area, I got used to leaving the trunk empty and visible with the cover open, then putting items in the frunk so people wouldn't break my windows.

Jaguar I-Pace in the Wild. I Don't Get it.

I spent several minutes staring at a blue iPace over in Sunnyvale, I love it. I wouldn't buy one due to the electrics but the esthetics are great. Tesla really should expand their paint options though, Jaguar has some great options. I'm sure an electric ftype world be amazing, but again the...

Jaguar I-Pace in the Wild. I Don't Get it.

Huh I saw this in blue at the Central Computer parking lot in Sunnyvale and it was stunning, in a way Teslas aren't. It's not conservative in any way and the paint was gorgeous. But I buy cars on my needs and while I'd consider an electric F type if I decide I wanted a sporty car, the iPace...
