Aftermarket yoke steering wheel in Model 3

I'm a sucker for the yoke look, and I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on one for my model 3 relatively soon. I know abstract ocean has their yoke which seems to be good quality and supposedly made from original tesla steering wheels. On the other hand, Hansshow has a MUCH wider...

Wireless charger that will work with Pixel 6 (pro)

Whoa that's so interesting...I rented a 2022 Model 3 this weekend for myself and my cousins. We all have various Pixel 6 or 6 Pro phones and none of ours had reliable success on the built in charging pads (sometimes one would charge a few %s but then stop, sometimes it would not charge one bit...

Wireless charger that will work with Pixel 6 (pro)

I know this is a bit more of a Pixel problem than a Tesla problem, but the Pixel 6/6 Pro series of phones are very...picky when it comes to wireless charging, and generally only works well/reliably with specific chargers and wireless charging standards (EPP). I have had both an older and newer...

    Car won't update (2022.16.1.2)

Oh wow yeah super interesting to hear almost the same thing happening with a few other people. My update ended up actually finally downloading entirely overnight, so I did finally get it installed!

    Car won't update (2022.16.1.2)

Well now, weirdly enough, in the time since I've posted this, the progress has gone from 54%->58%, which...IS progress, but unbelievably slow. I have VERY fast internet (and can confirm it is working at its normal speed). I've never seen an update download at <2% per hour. Not sure if I just...

    Car won't update (2022.16.1.2)

I'm laughing at the fact that we have nearly IDENTICAL pictures of our cars as profile images hahaha. I actually didn't realize you could request service for software issues in app! I may try that if I don't see it show progress on the download by tomorrow

    Car won't update (2022.16.1.2)

My model 3 connects to wifi in my garage and has always just downloaded software updates automatically from there. I've noticed for the past SEVERAL weeks, it has had the orange "downloading" icon, but it never actually completes and prompts me to update. Finally after noticing this for weeks, I...

    Different wireless charging pads?

As far as I can tell, most charge between 7.5-10 when plugged into USB, and up to 15 when plugged into the 12V. The TapTes (cheapest) one seems to perform no differently than the others..

    Different wireless charging pads?

Hey there, I was looking around to see if any of the various wireless charging pads were on sale for black friday. There is.....a LOT of variation in prices, but I can't really tell if there's any variation in features/quality. Jeda's wireless charging pad is $99 (Jeda Wireless Pad | Tesla...

Do You Miss Your Model S?

I mean there is a reason that the 3 is a much cheaper car, but for what it is, it's amazing that it stands up to the S so well. My S was not a new post-facelift one so my 3 brings a lot of quality of life and technological improvements that I didn't have. It makes it a no-brainier for me that...

I drive my Model X (non Performance) more spirited than I ever drove my Performance Model 3

This is what shocked me about the AWD (non-P). I so much enjoy the feeling of accelerating and getting up to speed that when I didn't feel that so much in the P version (it was more like blink and boom, you're at speed), I was honestly confused. Where did that sensation go?? I was very happy to...

I drive my Model X (non Performance) more spirited than I ever drove my Performance Model 3

I went with a LR AWD Model 3 for this reason honestly. I drove both a AWD and a P and the P just was a bit...too powerful? I mean I love speed and it's not like it was uncontrollable, but the AWD felt more like I could drive it like a normal car and could punch it and fly at the same time. It...

Can the scroll buttons be programmed for other functions?

I admit having autopilot settings on the right wheel is intuitive and useful, I just often wish I could change the fan speed of the AC without hitting the climate button, bringing up the menu, and then finding the tiny little area with the fan and tapping the correct number of times. A lot to do...

    Mobile app 3.10.0, Homelink

Wait....seriously? I just purchased homelink on the tesla store "just" because of this feature being added to the app. It will prevent me from having to take my garage door opener to and from my car every time I need to go to my garage. I don't have FSD and I don't see why on earth they should...

    Some dumb home-charging questions

Thank you so much! I had found it earlier today too. Not sure why they killed the link instead of just labeling it as out of stock. Makes me wonder if they're not planning on producing it or if there was some kind of safety or quality issue with it..
