I just checked my config and it is almost 3k cheaper with the new prices. My car is ready for delivery next week though, and Tesla is not willing to make any price adjustments.

Interesting. I have a pretty early P reservation (#154) and I contact Tesla because I was worried about still not having a VIN. I have just been told that I will get delivery in early November, despite the lack of assigned VIN. We will see if that actually happens.

I have the "We have begun sourcing parts for your Model S" message but no VIN #.

I'm also seeing the "your order is on hold" message in MyTesla. Wants driver's license info and shipping address for accessories.

Does anyone else have a link on their MyTesla page saying "Download Manuals & Warranty"? So far there's no actual manuals to download though. No VIN here yet, not Norgwegian/Swiss/Signature so I'm not surprised.

My understanding is that the Bluestar is a cheaper, more mass market car than the Model S. Something like the 3 series instead of the 5 series, or the C class versus the E class, if we're talking about BMW & Mercedes. I'm only guessing on the slower part, but hey, a $30K car versus a $50K car...
