    NSW Police Targeting Teslas?

Maybe he needed a little tough love. Anyone who thought that video demonstrated unfair policing rather than bad driving is obviously delusory, and sometimes a sharp cathartic shock is needed to help these people. I’m sure those posters writing harsh comments felt the heavy burden of their...

    NSW Police Targeting Teslas?

What a load of rubbish! That would imply that anyone who has done anything wrong can never assess the performance of anyone else. I think the original quote was trying to stop an execution somewhere in the Middle East, it might be a bit heavy-handed for criticising someone’s driving :-)

    NSW Police Targeting Teslas?

The OP literally asked people to make a judgement.

    NSW Police Targeting Teslas?

Mate it looked to me like she did a sudden illegal lane change in the corner and cut off a police car! This is pretty dangerous driving, especially as she obviously wasn’t aware of the traffic behind her. As for the offence getting two separate infringements that is probably a discretionary...

    Superchargers in Australia

Well they avoid naming things 4, but they don't really avoid just having 4 of something. There are plenty of 4-lane roads, power outlets with 4 plugs etc.

    Superchargers in Australia

I find it a piece of cake, and not the least bit fatiguing. I certainly stop and rest if I'm tired, but I've always had a high tolerance for long drives. Maybe a product of growing up in rural NSW, I'd done about 200,000km before I was 20 and still do about 50,000km/yr.

    NRMA fast charging network

It is a big risk, but sometimes it's the only option if you want to take that trip. I went around Tasmania a few weeks ago, and on two separate occasions I arrived at a lone CCS2 charger with low SoC and had issues starting the charging session. Both times I was able to eventually get it to...

    Supercharger - Devonport, Tas

Perhaps better example is the Channel Tunnel between England and France. They have superchargers at either end of that. I've used them both!

    Superchargers in Australia

If you mean in my Tesla, I've driven about 400km and arrived with 0km range and power limiter down to about 50kW. If you mean in my pre-EV life, I frequently drove Sydney to Melbourne without stopping (diesel SUV), and Coffs Harbour to Melbourne stopping for 5 minutes for fuel.

    Supercharger - Devonport, Tas

A beautiful sight. I was there two weeks ago, having charged in Launceston at a CCS2 charger. This would have been so much better.

Oh yeah, it’s Gundagai I could have skipped. Syd - Goulburn - Holbrook - Euroa - Mel Instead of Syd - Goulburn - Gundagai - Albury - Euroa - Mel So three stops instead of four. I’m going to appreciate that LR Model S next year.

    MCU1 upgrade

Mine took a few hours to update once connected to wifi. Not sure if it helps to have "Advanced" selected for your software update preferences. I have that selected, it is supposed to mean I get more frequent updates rather than just the main ones.

The Holbrook charger is actually very useful. I did Sydney to Tassie return road trip recently with an S75D. I could have done Gundagai - Holbrook - Melboure instead of Gundagai - Albury - Euroa - Melbourne.
