This sounds interesting, given that they now released the new "collect data/video from car" disclaimer that you are automatically enrolled in. Tesla updates data sharing policy to include collecting video in order to ‘make self-driving a reality’

This update is incredible, except I fear I might forget how to drive. Entire commute can be done on autopilot now. Even very curvy local roads it handled very well!

Maybe this has been covered before, but those that are getting updates, does your car need to be hooked up to a charger to receive/install the update?

For me, I got the email of in transit, then 2 days later it was ready for delivery. I think emails and updates should be taken with a grain of salt. I think they do a lot behind the scenes. If you're really itching to find out more you DS can help big time.

Whoop! After long wait I finally saw the magic words "in transit." For reference to all those anxiously waiting. In production for 29 days, delivery window went from Late April-May, to May-Early June, to May 14-May 28th and now down to April 28th-May 5th...come on birthday weekend surprise!!!

Delivery window was Late April - Early May. So, they haven't missed the mark, just warning to expect the unexpected and wanting the car so badly makes it that much worse. My delivery window has now slipped to Late May - Early June.
