Thanks for this post-I live right nearby this location, and just learned about it-never considered it would happen, but happy it did. So, if my power goes out, I can drive the 2 miles over, and charge here
Right, and what I think is that Tesla likely selected motors for P, tested them, and used them if they passed. Probably tossed them entirely if they didn't make the cut (unlikely that a "non-pass" motor would still be used in ANY car).
There's no insult in the parts being the same for P- vs AWD...

Same issue this morning. Have 42.4, had 42.2 for about 2 weeks before, and all was fine until this AM. No auto wipers, no cruise or EAP. Tried the reboot with the buttons (didn't try the brake pedal) and no luck
Sorry- KG M3 didn't say all of that-I did, the part from here down:
Interesting. You lead with a study from a surely unbiased point of view...
The studies that I saw show that there are statistically significant reductions in rear-ending accidents, and certain types of injuries suffered from...
How about no lane splitting? It's a ridiculous, dangerous practice. Makes people aggressive towards motorcycle drivers, and is not safe for drivers of cars. Not sure how this is acceptable anywhere...
