For what it's worth, mine was bad as well when I got my car at the end of the year. I ended up going to the service center and they swapped it out for me. Oddly enough, the mobile charger worked on an X they tried it on, but would do nothing on my car. The new one works fine.

Yes, you are correct. It comes with a bag to store it in, but when it's folded up, it's way too large for either of the compartments in the back. I bought mine before I got the car, and have yet to put it in yet. I don't see actually using the magnets though. Whatever adhesive they may be using...

This happened to me twice today for the first (and second) time. I just started looking around for an answer to this as well. Your description is exactly what I experienced.

So are the lights actually dim, or is the backup camera just making the view darker because of them? The camera wouldn't be as affected by the red lights, so it makes sense that the camera isn't stopping down because of the brake lights. I see the same thing, but haven't gotten out of the car...

Got my car today. Everything looks great, appears to be flawless. Went to plug it in and it refuses to charge with even the mobile connector. I just get a charging fault... ugh.

I'm still waiting as well. I finally called the showroom here and while they still didn't have any VIN info for me, they said they have 400 deliveries to do here in the Las Vegas Valley before the end of the year... Wow. She mentioned they did 60 yesterday...

I'm in the same boat, just showing 6-8 weeks from order date (at one point it said 12/18-12/31). They are the same date range regardless, but my SA says I'm still on schedule to receive most likely the last week of the month...

Yeah, my SA doesn't respond to any method of communication, voicemails, emails, text... I've had better luck calling the showroom and selecting "sales" (they actually answer that). I guess there is no incentive for these people to actually respond...
