Am I the only one who thinks the auto open trunk will be damaging tailgates left and right when someone walks behind their car in their garage? Will it open if you are washing the back of your car? Better remember to turn that off...

The tape is completely worthless. I had better luck with dual sided foam tape. I have the same gap in the front. Ultimately, I decided I could live with it, and the shade blocks the heat so well, it might not be a bad idea for it to breathe a bit with our crazy heat. I will add, with the shade...

I got mine installed yesterday, it was actually surprisingly straight forward. There is an install video on Amazon that may help. Lining up the screws in the back was pretty easy if you use the provided Allen key and pull it down a bit. This will allow you to move the bar and get the hole lined...

It's the only stuff I've washed my car with since i got it. Love it and can wash the car inside the garage. They key is to make sure you have enough clean towels to use.

I'm only seeing the model 3 version right now as well. It repeatedly goes in and out of stock almost daily. Just refresh the page for the model 3 version and you should see it come up as an option to select on that page when it's back.
