Congrats and welcome to the club. Once you've owned a Tesla, it's hard to consider any other brand. They just do it right. Competiton is heating up, but imho, their is no substitute yet. Your number one task, before floormats even, is to get a swivel screen. Its a game changer. :)

I'll try that before my next trip, but why would I care about rated miles, when that is relative (to my driving) -- Battery SOC is not.

Are you saying that LFPs normally leak 0.5% a day, or that there is no way to accurately measure leakage with LFP?

Ouch. I calculate a $300/month difference between $55K and $40K at 7% over 60 months., What you need is a new loan. Maybe your lender can re-do the loan with the smaller amount.

I've seen less damage on other Teslas that got totaled.

Its a 10 minute self install + 2 minutes to program. Pick up the unit, mount and fastener screw for $175 shipped (or cheaper) on Ebay. This guy is sold out, but more will come. It works great, maybe the best garage door opening solution in history because it's fully automatic as you drive...

The vast majority of Y's have no paint issues so why settle for the rare one that does. Its your money, so reject it, and wait for the perfect one coming just behind it. Let a person with a less-decerning eye accept this one.
