Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Dear market makers, Due to buying related obligations, I wont’t be able to attend your parties, for the time being. But I wish you a happy max pain party next week, with lots of memorable moments. Yours sincerely, SimplyThis

As I understand it correctly, max pain is the SP a lot of whales want on friday. So if max pain is 720 and SP is 740, they try to get it down to 720, if low volume permits. And if SP is 696 and max pain 720, no efforts?

Uberturbines look like they are meant for counterclockwise rotation. Mounted on the right side the rotation is clockwise, when driving forward. I don’t like the look of that.

Been wondering why the drivers side of the Y performance looks so much better (more fluent?) than the right side. RWD/AWD same thing, to a lesser extent. Then aha, thats why. Now for me it is obvious. Can’t recall hearing anybody mentioning this topic. Weird. Once you know, you cannot unsee...

A bug that cost them a few grand for electricity used and demonstrates the world that, when they would cooperate financially, all brands can charge at superchargers. To me that is intentional.

For years and years, when checking SP, first digit used to be 3. Then things started to change. My familiar 3 got lost. I could not get used to those rapid changing digits. Staring at the ticker got me paralized. Luckily is being paralized of form of HODL. Split was announced, I got new hopes...

I have a lot to learn for sure. One thing I learned already is, Lower SP for promising stonks means lower entry points are available. High SP is nice, low is BUY. Even experienced investors won't disagree on that?

Not sure myself either. Ever since someone taught me to just buy and hold, I have time left I sometimes use to try to understand the market mechanics. And get confused. Anyway, I get your answer. Comforting. Thanks.

If more people are HODLing and never (..) sell, the float gets smaller. That would make it easier, because less shares needed, to influence SP. So, if almost all shareholders dont trade, just hold, it takes just a few shareholders to move SP down, thereby creating losses (OK, on paper) for those...

Meaning employees and Mr. Musk and such can't sell without delay? Little knowledge here, just curious.

Can someone please explain the difference between total amount of outstanding shares and the float? I get it that Elon doesn't want to sell his shares, so his shares are not part of the float. But neither do I, and I presume that my shares are part of the float. What makes my shares different...
