    National Grid SMART payments?

So you basically get about $0.11/kwh with National grid? That is a lot better than our municipal electric dept in Georgetown MA that will only give us $0.02/kwh

Anyone start with 1 Powerwall and added more later [ to a solar roof ]

Geography plays a big part in this as well. All of you are in Cali with sky high electric. Here in Massachusetts, my municipal power company is pennies on the dollar compared to you, so if I have to hit the grid it isn't a big deal costwise. Now that being said, there is always a down side, for...

Anyone start with 1 Powerwall and added more later [ to a solar roof ]

I get the analogy, but it is a bit simpler than that right. In our basement there is plenty of wall space for more batteries, and the electrical work should be trivial. With the federal tax credit we would get 26% of additional batteries paid for so that is weighing on me. We just switched to...

    Solar Roof in Massachusetts

That is the benefit of going through private companies like Eversource. Small municipal electric companies don't know how to handle any of this stuff yet, or at least around where I live.

New 5 Year / 0.99% Solar Panel Financing Option

I originally got paired up with Sunlight Financial for 20yrs / 6.99% interest. I had already signed all that paperwork but my install still isn't scheduled so my Tesla rep seemed to be able to simply convert my over to the new offer and I re-signed everything

    Financing directly as homeowner

Tesla does offer their own financing now, I just switched over to a 10yr/ 0.9% interest loan which no one comes close to matching
  8. S

    Does anyone finance their panels?

I just switched over the the 10yr / 0.9% interest, luckily I haven't started my install yet. Even if you have cash that is a heck of a deal

    Solar Roof in Massachusetts

I'm curious if anyone here is from Massachusetts and worked with a municipal electric company. We had a system design that was about 18kwh but now our muni wants to downsize the system to half that which will only generate half of our electric usage (if we are lucky). I'm wondering if anyone...

New 5 Year / 0.99% Solar Panel Financing Option

I just asked my Tesla rep and he got it added to my order, I applied and it was approved which is huge. Sunlight Finance was 7%!

Anyone start with 1 Powerwall and added more later [ to a solar roof ]

We have been trying to get our order through for quite some time, and one of the big sticking points for me was that nothing showed what we were getting for $68k. I just found out that they didn't include any Powerwalls in my price but luckily they have a program now that they could add to my...

Tesla Solar 10-year loan, 10% down, 0.99 APR

I just switched to this and I am excited, the Sunlight Financial APR was 7%! Now I probably just have to wait 6-12 months to actually get my solar roof installed....
