Passenger side seat moving/resetting on its own?

I’m experiencing this too. Anyone have this issue sorted?

Snow tires for 2022 Model Y

Chill mode, low regen, no autopilot/adaptive cruise control, use seat heaters to offload hvac, preheat if your car has been out overnight (watch for windows that are frozen stuck and don’t drop when opening the doors, make sure not to close your door if so), delay charging to near departure time...

Snow tires for 2022 Model Y

Just got Vredestein Wintrac Pros from Tire Rack along with MSW 27 wheels. Performance seems great so far (just one winter storm) and can’t beat Tire Rack’s service, I received the wheel/tire/tpms combo in two days to my front door.

    Curious about Battery Fire Risk

https://www.tesla.com/VehicleSafetyReport Click on link, scroll down to vehicle fire data, and then stop with this nonsense.

Bought Tesla Model Y from Inventory

What legacy automaker has anything close to what Tesla is doing with FSD? Name one that even recognizes stop signs/lights and can navigate an intersection. I won’t hold my breath waiting.

Bought Tesla Model Y from Inventory

Decent price for sure, enjoy the car!

How to quickly defrost windshield while driving?

For some reason the Model Y I just received only has the blue a/c option. Am I missing something? My Model 3 behaves exactly as you describe with the second push turning the icon red and working much quicker.

    Ioniq 5 vs Model Y

Model Y wins No it doesn’t. It isn’t reasonable to compare ideal for one vehicle versus one person’s “real world” for another. I’ll point to Ioniq 5 owners that have reduced real world range as a counterpoint. The 2022 dual motor Model Y is EPA rated at 280 wh/mi and the dual motor Ioniq 5 is...

    Ioniq 5 vs Model Y

You’re conflating the supply voltage for charging with the cell voltage. 800V doesn’t produce less heat, it just allows the conductor size to be reduced. The cells generate the heat that must be managed when charging, and operate at much lower voltage (2.5-4.2 volt I believe for a 21700 cell)...

    Ioniq 5 vs Model Y

No, the 800V architecture only allows conductors to be reduced in size. The cells themselves and their chemistry limit charge rate. A larger cell, which Hyundai is using, also makes heat dissipation more of a problem. I share the concern that we will see more pronounced battery degradation with...

    Washington State Waiting Room

I had heard deliveries were moving up but that’s a huge jump. Are we able to delay deliveries to the start of the original EDD window? Someone mentioned that possibility somewhere

Made in Austin Model Y LR: First Impressions

The wheel is sensing torque, not pressure in some other way. Rest one hand on the wheel or apply light torque. Not ideal but cover the accelerator with your foot. If it phantom brakes, push the accelerator to reduce the speed impact. Not sure about an issue with driving in the center of the...

Can HomeLink be used in a completely manual mode?

Yes, I use it manually. As I approach my driveway the icon appears in the lower left of the screen and acts just like a manual garage door opener, no timer as described above. Similarly, when I leave the button is available in the same location.
