    Tesla’s do last

There's plenty of Model S's with that kind of mileage out there, at least.

Wrong location on GPS and not able to do a soft reset, should I be concerned?

I used to have a 2019 Model 3 Performance that would have an inaccurate GPS for 2 minutes after leaving my garage at home, and then would be fine after that each morning. Never really bothered me enough to find out why it did that. Sold it in January.

    Please don't buy the CT

Yep. If you can avoid the FOMO, you'll get a higher build quality CT a year later for a lower price. Tesla drops prices for end-of-quarter sale targets all the time, and the Cybertruck won't be an exception.

    12V failing :(

A recent firmware update handles failed 12V more gracefully than it used to before. Now when the battery dies, the car will avoid going to sleep so you'll never be locked out, this of course slowly drains the traction battery but it's better than getting locked out of your car!

EVs Fall Short of EPA Estimates by a Much Larger Margin Than ICE in Real-World Highway Testing

If you're not putting on a catheter for your road trips, you're doing it wrong.

EVs Fall Short of EPA Estimates by a Much Larger Margin Than ICE in Real-World Highway Testing

I always try to arrive at DCFC locations at 5% or less since that's where you'll be charging the fastest.

    2021 vs 2023 M3P

The 23 has matrix LED headlights that will eventually be switched on. No radar on the 23. The little divider tray in the center console arm rest is missing in the 23, I yoinked it from my 19 when I traded it in.

M3 RWD charging at 40amp after PCS replacement?

AC charging at a lower rate won't do much to help the battery out since even at 48A that's only 0.13C on a AWD Model 3. Anything less than 0.5C (2 hour charge time) shouldn't harm the battery. Lowering the amps can extend the life of the onboard charger, though.

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

90% is fine. I don't personally do it since I never need that much range. I do 80%.

Can I still cancel order even after having a delivery date schedule?

You should have been receiving text messages from a specialist shortly after ordering a car. You can either call or text them back for help.

    Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

I bought the warranty from Discount Tire on the same day I took delivery of my new Model 3 Performance last week.

    New tires at 21,000 miles

Michelin's CrossClimate2 tires have a 60k mile warranty, I think it can be done as long as they don't floor it at every light.

    New tires at 21,000 miles

And the Model X weighs about the same as the BMW X5. Cars in general got heavier, regardless of drive train.

    New tires at 21,000 miles

I wouldn't exactly call the Model 3 a heavy car. The RWD Model 3 weighs 100 lbs more than a 2023 Camry. A Model 3 Performance weighs 150 lbs more than a BMW M3 Competition. Model 3 high tire wear mostly can be credited to lead foots.
