Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I still don't quite understand what "Speed overreporting factor" means in ABRP, I also can't seem to get the "Degradation" number to show up. I've checked my speed vs. my GPS watch, and at 80 mph (car read out) it's within ~1.5 mph of my watch, but ABRP says my speed overreporting factor is...

    Orbital Wheel Covers

I figure that it's like many Kickstarter campaigns: they'll get here when they get here. Unless they are lying through their teeth I'll get them eventually. It's not like I've been DRIVING all that much for the past year. I'm not worried about it.

Does It Seem Like Everyone Wants To Race You?

Not even once. I'm one of those guys that floors it from every stop light I'm first in line at too (up to +/- 5 mph of the speed limit). Just have never had a "fast" (or even perceived "fast") car beside me at a stop light in the 2.25 years I've had the car. Probably doesn't hurt that I've got...

    Screw you, Model 3

Every time I walk into my garage or am approaching my car in the parking lot at work I think to myself "%&$# I love that car." I am at nearly two years of ownership, and while the rush of the acceleration has become something "I just expect" rather than a massive "wheeee!" I still love the car...

    Mashing the accelerator, a lot...

Mine is a stealth P3D, OEM tires...well..I left them on a few miles too long (like...probably 5k too long...) and replaced them at ~30k miles, rears were nearly bald and fronts still had significant life. I did not rotate, my fault for not paying attention to wear. I'm paying attention now...

NITTO MOTIVE - Longer Life & Lower Cost Alternative to Michelin MXM4 Tires?

I've got the Nittos. Have a bit over 10k miles on them so far. Rotated them ~2k miles ago, rears were wearing faster than the fronts, but that's what happened to my OEM tires too, so I'm sure that's my driving. Haven't noticed a drop in range, traction seems good, well rated tire. I expect to...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

2018 P3D Stealth with 41132 miles on it. Currently 85% SOC is 255 miles, which is 300 miles at 100% calculated. Pulling the slider to the right (100%) when in miles mode shows 298 miles. Not bad... Had a bit of a drop a month or so ago, but it seems to have "recovered" almost completely from that.

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I think that @PhysicsGuy 's point was that "touching the shore" is BAD for your physical battery even if it is "good" for your BMS calibration. Basically, don't start a forest fire (touch the shore) because you are a little turned around in the woods.

Uneven Re-gen Braking Feel on P3D+

Or, you know, you could use the supercomputer in your pocket? Pretty much all smart phones have an accelerometer or two in them, just need the software to do the data acquisition and graph it. I use Physics Toolbox Pro on my Pixel 4 XL. I just set it in the smartphone cradle in the car and hit...

Uneven Re-gen Braking Feel on P3D+

It's the one pedal driving. I'm not sure if it starts using the friction brakes or if it actually USES some battery power to bring the car to a halt. I actually really like it, once you get used to it (on a warm battery car..more on that in a second) you can basically do exactly what you were...

All Performance Model 3 Currently Being Held on 2020.8.3?

I've got a HW 2.5 P3D, and I'm still on 8.3. Starting to wonder what's going on too, I've never been this far behind on the update curve before.

Same configuration and age as my car. A few more miles (I'm just under 37k miles). What's your daily drive and charging routine? For reference (at least prior to the pandemic lockdown) mine is generally 36 miles on the interstate in the morning at 80+ mph, at work for ~9 hours [open parking...

UP lip and lowering springs in 3 Performance

Your 0-60 should absolutely not be slower, if anything it should be faster due to less rotating mass unless you purchased 18" wheels made of gold or lead or depleted uranium... The stock 20" wheels are boat anchors...
