If you refuse updates, they'll just make stuff stop working on your car to force you. I haven't updated since they made the UI worse and now today I can't precondition the AC in my car anymore.

I'm on 42.4 and still get occasional static problems. Specifically If I listen to talk radio and they play audio of a phone caller on the radio show, the audio of the phone caller will frequently distort into high frequency static/buzzing.

I just posted this same issue on the model 3 facebook forum. Yeah it's really annoying. You can't set your cruise speed anywhere below the posted speed limit. I was advised to switch from "relative" to "absolute" in the autopilot settings, and that didn't change anything.

Thats actually how it was initially. You're right - much more intuitive and better. Then they screwed it up with a software updates. Im sick of hearing how OTA updates are awesome. They've downgraded more things in my car than they've improved.

I'd park it on the second level of the nearest parking garage. Even if a flood doesn't kill your car, it aint gonna escape without some damage, even if it's just mold.
