    Electric planes

How is a few hundred deep cycles acceptable for the market? Aircraft that make money would need to charge 3-4 times per day, 7 days a week. That would mean the batteries would only last 2 months.

    Valve Stem Reapir Kit?

Can't you get the shop that installed the new wheels to fix it for free?

    Electric planes

One of the two Joby flight test aircraft has crashed. Probably going to delay certification.

Is it safe to use 70 amp breakers for home wall connectors to charge Model 3?

The breaker is sized to protect the wires in the house/garage going to the outlet. If the wires are sized for a 40A breaker then you cannot install anything larger than a 40A breaker. If the "electrician" installed a 70A breaker then the wires had better be of the correct size otherwise it is...

    Electric planes

Not exactly. To certify the aircraft the batteries will need to be in a fire proof/explosion proof containment vessel with a vent to outside the aircraft. Not easy to scatter batteries all over the aircraft and meet this criteria. I actually only see them in a few locations on the aircraft.

Why are we always being overcharged

Or the oil dripped could be enhancing the longevity of the Asphalt. I am not sure, but Asphalt is a petroleum product so who knows.

MASTER THREAD: Tesla Insurance Services in California

You say you got hit so why is your insurance covering the repair and not the driver at fault?

    Porsche Taycan

Just because they say up to does not mean they are only using sections from the WLTP cycles. It just means if you drive it hard you will not obtain this number. All manufacturer's might as well say "up to" but I think everyone knows it is a given.

Bugatti breaks world speed record, Elon musk what is your response?

Record for what a production car? That car was modified. John Force can do 300+ in a modified Mustang in 5 seconds.

    Porsche Taycan

They should have compared it to another EV and showed it drive off the end of the carrier into the water when it could not stop in time.

EV's on Motorweek Today: Hyundai Kona

The Kona EV is $37k minus $7500 for some so that is why it might sell over the $41k SR+.

    Tesla Insurance Launches in California

My guess is they already have this information on you (the car) and are quoting it accordingly.
