if you have HW4, don't use a USB hub in the glovebox, it will mess with your GPS and possibly damage your MCU. Ask me how I know :) several others on here experienced the same thing.

I finally got my car back and it was unfortunately caused by plugging in a USB hub into the globe compartment port. VIN is 8541XX built in Fremont, CA and build date was late July. My repair completion was pushed out till Tomorrow, waiting on another part.

Just GPS/Navigation.

Same issue here on a brand new model y. Car has been in service for a week, they are replacing some part but won't tell me which part. Hopefully it's resolved soon.

Yes, this happened to me yesterday. I thought it was odd but now makes sense it was tied to that release. I had to hold down the window switch to get it back up.

I forgot to add earlier that I couldn't get my car into Park either. Roadside service said if it ever happens again that I should either open the door or lift my but off the seat and the car will automatically go into Park. I think I knew about opening the door trick but was kind of freaking out...

This happened to my 2019 SR+ a few months ago. It freaked me out and definitely killed my confidence in the car that had been rock solid for 3 years. After finally rebooting it, it was drivable. Roadside checked the logs but couldnt' determine anything wrong with it. It was a brutally hot day...

if you drive it, just be prepared to manually jump it(a23 battery and a jumper) or have it towed because it could leave you stranded.
