Any update? I have a T@B S Model and was thinking about trying it. Send private message if you do not want to post here. I can tell you that the T@b is not very are inspire of it's looks. We current tow it with a Lincoln MKC and it get between 12-15 mpg vs a typical 25 mpg on the highway.

Still working now on May 10th. Charged normally on unit 1B.

I will bow out of this thread with this. I am 100% certain that Tesla would not exist without the DIY crowd. A few here seem to want to completely discount that for what ever reason. The World is connected far more than people here want to admit. I know that Jack is a good guy and cares...

Actually I agree that Tesla has changed the way people think about EV's. I NEVER ONCE SAID OTHERWISE!!!! What you refuse to admit is that coverted pieces of junk like my cars ALSO have changed the way many people think about EV's... In fact is was a CONVERTED car that got Elon interested in...

Sounds like a failure of something like the DC-DC converter that converts pack voltage to 12vdc for the car's electrical system. If it quit working the car's electronics would drain the 12V battery... Is this converter in the pack? I know they do not let the service centers open the pack so...

Actually Jack and his wife LOVE their Model S... I spent last weekend with them and they love the car.... I personally do not think this is a big issue, but there have been enough issues to watch it closely... - - - Updated - - - Well I saw his wife driving this imaginary car last weekend....

I think they are doing a good job. July was good, buy June was very low. However, giving the current rate, I see no way they could hit their 2014 goal... There are just not enough in the permit and certainly not enough in the construction phase... It could change, but that is what I can see...
