I may go check it out. I was there last week along with one of the Tesla Rangers. We talked to the guys who were working on it. They thought that their phase would be done around July 4, but of course no guarantees.

Yes! It's my commuter car for a 90+ mile round trip. Many days are more than that with side trips. We also use it to drive from Ann Arbor to Chicago. Fuel savings alone convinced my wife - albeit after the first year. My P85 is the best car I've ever had.

Tesla Companion is a great app. I'd definitely pay for it. I use Tesla Connect as well, but Companion just had a more polished look. Both great code though.

I'm hearing a similar noise when I accelerate or decelerate at highway speeds - 50-70 MPH is when it's most noticeable. It's a noise that I never heard before. If it's the inverter, is this normal wear and tear, or should it be serviced? My car just turned a year old and has about 17,000 miles...

I have to admit, I miss the aggressive regen. I was really getting to love it. If the new profile really is improving efficiency then I'm all for it. What about 3 settings? High(Aggressive)/Normal/Low. I guess that might be confusing to some though. Hmm...
