I got 2023 MYLR with PF589. Checked in local Tesla store, and was told the car was build Oct. 29 and it has the new softer suspension. If that is the "softer ride" what was the ride before? I still have 2019 Model 3 and so far I am disappointed from the harsh ride at low speed and high booming...

Have no info, but logical would be: older orders (lower priced, can't cancel) get 2022 newer (increased price, can cancel) get 2023?

Tax credit is a factor, and when you add to it 2022 instead 2023 it makes no deal for me. 2023 would sweeten a bit the tax credit loss due to less instant depreciation.

I rejected 2022 vin and was put on 7 day hold (that is all they would give now) that expired. So now I hope for 2023 because if I get 2022 assigned again I will refuse delivery again and they will probably cancel my order.

I know some have received 2023 vins, however I am waiting vin assignment at any moment and I am afraid it still could be 2022 vin. At this time getting 2022 vin is really bad deal because of the resale value.
