    front camera fog frustration

I have had this issue since our first winter (2018/19) and still dealing with it today. Did you happen to find a solution? Debating drilling small holes through the cover...

Things my wife said about Navigate on Autopilot tonight

Haven't read through all 10 pages, but my wife and kids feel the same as OP's wife. That said, on highways during trips I can get away with it if I put the car in Chill mode and reduce the steering feel as well. It's not perfect, but massive improvement vs the jerkiness otherwise experienced. If...

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

You'll be fine. According to the press release if you had the car on order you'll still receive the $5k. Give it a read... quite possible your owner advisor missed the fine print.

    Mirrors losing position more often

I'm still on 16.2 and aside from an issue yesterday my mirrors have been consistent the past couple of months. Previously it was a problem. On the other hand, the seat memory positioning has been poor since I received the car...

    SR+: Vancouver to Whistler trip

As was mentioned by others, you'll use very little charge even in the dead of winter getting from Whistler to Squamish. Charging at the free spots is a fiasco - if you absolutely need to, there is the supercharger at the fairmont, but parking ain't cheap. One other thing to note, autopilot...

    SR+: Vancouver to Whistler trip

We made the round-trip regularly from East Van in the winter in our LR RWD. Leaving with 90% in the morning, typically returning with around 15% depending on driving style and temps. I can't see you having any issues with doing it on a single charge this time of year, but in the winter, plan on...

Vancouver (GVRD) - Ceramic Coat & Tint

Yep, which is why I went with 70%. Can't tell from the outside, but makes a massive difference inside.

Vancouver (GVRD) - Ceramic Coat & Tint

I just had front windshield and sides @ 70% and rear sides and full rear glass @ 35%. Xpel Ceramic $850 all in at infinity glass on clark. Another day or so for the film to cure but it looks fabulous. Massive difference in the sun today on the heat transfer. Wish I had done this months ago prior...

    BC and (new) Referral Program

Contact the owner advisor, the salesperson who assisted you. It may take a week to show up. This happened to me as well, after a couple phone calls it was resolved.

    Model 3 Windshield Replacement Vancouver

Tesla brings the glass, JF does the install at Tesla - at least that's what happened for me. They worked on my moonroof earlier this year after it cracked on the 99. It sat at Tesla for nearly 10 days as they batched a few install jobs. But, they gave me a loaner the whole time.

Is it worth getting FSD in Canada?

Have you had a free trial? If you haven't, you will receive one. Like others have said, FSD / EAP are neutered compared to American equivalents and at some point it will be cheaper, especially if you're thinking of upgrading after purchase.

    Vancouver to vancouver (via Lillooet)

I haven't checked on it since I actually got my 3, but last summer we stayed at the Fairmont and the spots were well underutilized. I'm sure in the summer you wouldn't have a problem since the hotel will rarely be at capacity - save for perhaps Crankworks.

BC EV rebate to run out of money soon?

There was a major push in the fall by the dealers as well. I chatted with Dueck on a Bolt at the time and their sales pitch was that the rebate was ending, so get on it. 2 weeks later, CEV was re-funded and he was happy to "negotiate". And then we bought a Model 3, ha! I'd be surprised if the...

EAP to FSD cost in canada

They raised it to lower again for a sale... Doubt it will be as cheap as the fire sale, but I'm sure it will be somewhere between. Seems they've had price drops timed to 3 different events - quarter / year ends, debt repayments and US rebate reductions.

    Car purchase dilemma

Something that hasn't been mentioned, you should get credit on your trade-in for the taxes as well. So that is one plus vs selling privately. I would also expect a brand new BMW to experience something similar to a 40% depreciation over the next 2-3 years as well. At least with the MS / M3...
