    Problems with traction control

Thats a really good idea! Next time I drive the 17, I'll just video the entire thing ...then edit.

You hold down the voice activation button and say "Bug Report" ;) That puts a marker in the logging stream.

    Problems with traction control

2015 S85D About a year ago my front motor started throwing faults and going offline so I brought in the car under warrantee to have the problem fixed. During the fix..dropping down the motor, they somehow broke the steering racks and had to get some replacements. After I got the car back...

    New Fire

Ditto here. Of course my garage is full of stuff and has no SPACE for a car...but I still would be parked outside if it did ;)

Supercharger - Scotts Valley, CA (LIVE 30 Jan 2020, 16 V3 stalls + Magic Docks)

Howdy, Was driving home to bay area from Aptos and saw on my display that Scotts Valley was offline. Didn't really need it but was thinking of stopping in to check it out... Anybody know why it was down (or was it not down?)

    Supercharger - Seaside, CA (6 V2 stalls)

Stopped to charge there two days ago. All 6 superchargers in use and only 2 drivers in evidence..(me and one other family) Other cars empty and sitting there. Where do people go? I seems pretty bleak around there. Service guys charging loaners?

The Tesla Model S is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

That's one way to look at it. I like RR because it is units of energy calibrated for the car you are in. This will be true in any car with RR you drive the future. Percent is not calibrated at all, so someday when your rental car is an EV, or you get a 2nd car with different battery size...

The Tesla Model S is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I've found the rate range to be spot on. RR assumes no wind, 65F, and no hills, non pefrormance tires, etc. You know this right? I have an S86D and I can easily get 240 wh/mi. But I prefer to go faster 8) So I'm not quite sure what you're getting on about here....

I've had my Model S for a month now. When does simply looking at it get old?

If I was buying now, I'd probably get a performance Model Y, but my 2015 S85D still makes me smile when I see it out in the lot... the lines of the car are really sweet to my eye.

    How do you decide? Regrets?

Eventually old batteries can by recycled to minimize the impact. And other chemistries and technologies will come along that are cheaper and less problematic now that EVs are seen as not just viable, but a lot of fun to drive. With ICE cars you have 100 million engines that spew CO and other...

    How do you decide? Regrets?

Back in 2015 I opted for the dual motor and so glad I did..not just for the AWD in snow but also the extra torque is super handy.... for squirting in front of people to get to that right hand exit etc. And the best part is all that power is SILENT. The only problem is when you have to drive an...

The Tesla Model S is the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

Congrats! I had a Camry Hybrid too before I got my Model S85D in 2015.

    Hit 200K miles today.

40,000 more miles and you've made it to the moon!

Out of curiosity, what do you hate about your Tesla?

April 2015 S85D (lives in Ca) So much to love.... here's the hates: crappy rear visibility / no blind spot warnings laggy response on scroll wheels use of end of stalk switches for washer and parking brake (get them confused)

    V10 on MCU1

I have V10 on MCU1 and it works just fine. Bluetooth, etc. Spotify also. Hardware too old to do video streaming. Make sure you do a dual scroll wheel reboot though..
