I’m jealous. At this point I think my options are to leave it alone expecting it to get worse and more noticeable, try and have paint correction done and PPF or totally repaint the door and add PPF. The latter being probably to expensive right now.

It’s crazy how this isn’t well known info. I have the same issue and haven’t even made my first payment.

Remarkably people have had luck with a magic eraser.

This morning I went to the Tesla store (STL) to get the 411 on my order and they had this baby out front. Apparently the poor chap who ordered this had his loan fall through. I ponied up the extra dough (I had on order the base model) and here we are. I LOVE THIS CAR!

VINs are not sequential and depend on the color and other options.

I’d be curious to know when you see your MVPA appear. My car was built on 9/12 and on Monday I called and got the VIN. The estimated delivery date to the SC is 9/25. I’ve received no delivery text or MVPA. Maybe all that will happen when it ships in the next few days? No rhyme or reason.

This means you have a car assigned to you that has been built. It’s likely getting ready to ship and around that time you should get a text message to schedule pick up. Call your service center nearest to your house and they can give you more specific information.

They send out hot mess cars all the time for delivery so the issues with the one you were unassigned from must have been major. Hopefully they will find you one. There has got to be inventory floating around the country.

I have the same order but on 8/24 and in St Louis. I am also having a similar customer service experience. No VIN for me yet.

A sales associate I spoke with this past Wednesday indicated I had a soft build date (or some language to that effect, maybe soft match) of 9/12 and my car should ship to Missouri around 9/19. I was so exited to get some actual news that I didn’t ask more pointed questions. I still have no VIN...
