I agree that early adopters usually take the risk of cost reduction however fsd has never been an available option to use and we were told it would cost more in the future. I think the fairest way for tesla to handle it is simple. The obvious choice of refunding $1000 is simply not an option...

I agree that there will soon be 2 variants however I believe there will no longer be a number designation. I think they will go the route of the 3 and simply have an SR and an LR. Then in the future they can change the battery kwh size and not have to worry about a different model designation...

someone else asked the same question a while ago and the answer was no, not possible. Main reason is the 6 seater has a power 2nd row and will not allow adding a center seat.

I could be wrong but I don't believe that to be true. I believe that the occupancy has to be greater than 50% when idle to be charged (after 5 minute grace and charged from minute 1).
