Despite 3 calls to Tesla with Solaredge ticket number, Tesla tech shows up with bare hands. He tells me that he will request a replacement now. Tesla should have contacted Solaredge before the service appointment since I provided all the information needed.

I'm hoping Tesla would reach out to Solaredge before the Technician visit on 01/06. They can replace the inverter same time. If not, there will be further delay.

Thanks for the update. I contacted solaredge as well. They gave me a case number and asked me to forward it to Tesla. Just waiting for Tesla to provide me an update. Hoping this would make the replacement process a bit faster. Still can't believe the new inverter to be defective.

@Casper, the same exact issue for me. Turned on the system only to find out the Solaredge inverter is defective. Now waiting on Tesla tech to come out. Hopefully, they come with a replacement. Is your issue resolved?
