    Summon in new vehicles

Pretty sure now - I have a new car delivered on the 27th Dec with no FSD. No summon available

    Summon in new vehicles

I had to go look at the order document to find out how much - I shouldn't have :(. It cost $ 2,500 but the cost of the car without Ludicrous was $ 135K before taxes and destination charges!! Oh and it was also called "Autopliot Convenience Features"!!

    Summon in new vehicles

Hmm not true for my P90D - I don't believe there was no enhanced Autopilot then (2016 - AP1 hardware) and it has basic summon and parallel parking

    Summon in new vehicles

Eh - I am not complaining. I am just bummed. I consider myself a reasonable expert in ordering Tesla cars (have bought 5 of them) - just wasn't clear to me that there was a difference between Autopilot, Enhanced Autopilot and FSD. I clearly missed the change.

    Summon in new vehicles

It definitely did - I got one of the P90D in 2016 - I can get a fully loaded car for that price now. But that is not the point - when I bought this new car, it said it included Autopilot and I paid for it - For me Autopilot always included basic summon (based on my old car which didn't have AP2...

    Summon in new vehicles

With you on this - not paying $7k yet. It is kind of a bummer though that my old car that is almost four years old has features that the new car doesn’t

    Summon in new vehicles

Just took delivery of a new long range Model S (no FSD) and I noticed that there is no Summon option in the mobile app (I see that in my model X and my other two model 3s). I don’t see Summon option in the car as well under Autopilot - has something changed? If we don’t buy FSD we don’t get even...

One more parts saga for a minor fender bender

Well it is a little bit more complicated than that!! I was rear ended but filed a claim with my own insurance and let them deal with the other insurance. I was willing to only pay for the labor to put the car together. The total damage is close to $ 5K and I am not paying that!! I don't blame...

One more parts saga for a minor fender bender

I tried pretty hard with ServiceKing (the body shop doing the work!!) to put the car back together (and even offered to pay for the labor) but no bueno!!

One more parts saga for a minor fender bender

I think with a little planning they can achieve both pretty easily. I can understand if this is a shortage for a month or quarter even - but to have these shortages over years only says that they are pretty incompetent when it comes to managing spare parts and haven't really done anything...

One more parts saga for a minor fender bender

So after almost five years of Tesla ownership with multiple cars (P85+. Model X P90D, Model 3) my faith in Tesla is finally shaken. My experience with the spare parts for a minor fender bender (rear ended on stop and go traffic) is frustrating to say the least. After almost six weeks in the...
