Looks like Dominion is taking their sweet time... same as they do with anything else (like getting the power back on after an outage.) At least the dealership in Richmond is opening tomorrow. :-)

Oh man, I dread going up there to Stonefield (kind of a circus) but it's probably a pretty logical location. I doubt I would end up using this often in my theoretical Model 3 but I'm glad there's going to be Supercharging here.

When I go there I have to travel from the Atlanta area through Bham and also back and forth on the US72 corridor between Florence and Huntsville. I often make several trips on US72 a day so waiting around for random J plugs and hit-and-miss chademo stations at nissan dealerships just won't cut...

Lack of Bham (and to a lesser extent, Huntsville) SC are pretty much the only things keeping me from making a M3 reservation. Travel through there often and it's just not feasible without them.

Well I hope so, I'm just asking if anyone knows if the DMV considers a service center to be "separate" from a dealership? Meaning, while they are waiting for this to play out in the courts the location can still open and service cars, but not sell them for the time being.

So, would they at least be able to keep the building as a service center if the DMV does not allow them to open a dealership?

In a similar vein... Here is the Sheetz at the intersection of US 60 and US 522: (Powhatan, VA) Look at all that space! Here is one in Lynchburg, VA on US29: Lots of room for a couple of superchargers, well away from the gas pumps.

Got a response from the DMV So they are taking the time to read and handle them.

Cracker Barrel has already been partnering with NRG EVGo in Tennessee and Texas. Not sure on the details of the agreement, but I think Nissan may also be involved due to their HQ now being in Tennessee. Anyhow, I believe most locations in those states have some mix of J plugs and CHAdeMO...

Would be great. Ditto for Lynchburg. That seems to be to be what these new partnerships are partly about... (Sheetz, Meijer, Ruby Tuesday) Filling in locations on major US highways.

Yeah definitely not the best, but not too horrible. The salad bar they used to have 10 or so years ago was half-decent, but don't know if it's still the same since it's been that long since I went to one. (Those chain restaurants tend to change their menus every couple of years.) I'll worry if...
