    2.0 / 2.5 Roadster / Roadster Sport Tire Thread

You can try the Yokohama V701 - Front 195/50R16 and Rear 225/45/R17 I have them on this season and they are not that bad. Well, not comparable to the AD07/AD08, but better than nothing...

    Cyclone & Aerodynamic rim options

@Raffy.Roma "The Cyclone and Aerodynamic wheels are available for the USA. For the time being they are not available for Europe. Hope they will be available for Europe soon." I'll buy them in the US - looks like Europe willnot have them until 2014 ;( @brainman: The Design Studio says 2500$ for...

    Cyclone & Aerodynamic rim options

I just spotted the new wheel options on Design Studio. Tesla is now offering two new 19" rims: Cyclone and Aerodynamic. I didn't spot them on shop.teslamotors.com - they only seem to be available via Design Studio when configuring a new Model S. Does anyone know if these wheels can be...

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

No, we won't. S. Davies from TM UK clearly wrote that the Get Amped Cars used in Europe will be US Production cars with TEMPORARY PLATES, so they only have basic modifications (lights, turn signals) to comply with EU laws so they can get temporary plates. He also wrote that these cars WON'T have...

    EU finalize and deliveries

I guess they have to do more than just lights. First of all they will offer three phase charging (as andrewas wrote). This means they have to have three chargers (or one for three-phase charging) inside. Sencond they have to switch the charge port to something like "Mennekes Typ 2" (Rumours on...

    EU finalize and deliveries

Just got my config invitation today (SIG #5). TM UK told me the following today on availability of "normal" Model S: So as color choice is very limited on signature editions, I might step back to a normal Model S.

Limited colour choice for Signature cars

Sorry Johan, but "After a lot of back-and-forth with the factory they have come to the following: EU signature cars can be in any color," is wrong. According to St. Davies (TM UK) the only way to get a Non-Signature color on a Signature Model S is to step down from a Signature Model S to...

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

Keep in mind: Tesla plug is ONE PHASE only Mennekes is THREE PHASE This means there is no Tesla plug on the EURO MODEL S. There must be a MENNEKES PLUG on the car itself (i wonder if it fit inside the rear light). Furthermore this means a MENNEKES-to-TESLA SUPERCHARGER is possible...

Europe: Future Charging for Model S 1-phase or 3-phase? (Part 2)

Model S Europe Chariging Port Confirmed TM UK just confirmed, that the charging port for European Model S will be "Stecker-Typ2" (Mennekes). That's good news - Typ2 is widely accepted in Europe and it offers 3-phase-charging!:love::love:
