It was doing this with mine as well. You shouldn't have to worry about it unless it does it a lot while driving. We use easy out and swap drivers a lot, so it moves quite frequently.

My guess is that you'll see a 50% decrease in range. And really, I'd plan for worst case scenario of 60-70% decrease. I'm going in to my purchase assuming 200 miles on the tri-motor. Which, would be plenty, assuming Tesla can exponentially increase the superchargers.

I got my SR+ delivered today! Aside from a very tiny scratch near the rear bumper, the car is perfect. Went through the whole checklist. It got here a little late, so only got to drive it about 10 miles, but it's the best thing ever. Completely blows my 2012 Leaf out of the water. That 1 pedal...

Everything has been done online and through email. I ordered within 1 hour of the website change. Yes, I used my checking account. This is my first Tesla. As for the reservation, I had one originally, but cancelled that early last year. Don't think that played any part in my current order.

I got my VIN and confirmed my payment today! Car is headed to Seattle tomorrow. Home delivery later this week or next. SR+, blue, no extras.

Do they not make the vehicles based on the orders received? Or do they just make random (by popularity) variants of the different models? The first I would think would get you a VIN rather quickly. But the second seems like it would a nightmare to figure out. So many variables you'd have to take...
