Using solar to charge Tesla S in Switzerland

Hello, I have day/night tariff so charge my Tesla S P85D and my Tesla 3 at night. I am considering installing solar panels and charge for free during the day, but am concerned that the solar panels at 9.84 KWC will not provide enough power to charge my cars during the day, and that I will end...

    Battery Fuse Replacement 2016 Model S 90D

Good news: warning disappeared after a reset. Tesla still wanted to check the car. 6 hours in the shop, no issues with the fuse. No cost. Excellent.

    Battery Fuse Replacement 2016 Model S 90D

My fuse replacement message on my March 2023 P85D (so just out of warranty) popped up last week. Car has ca 70K miles. I spoke with the Tesla repair center in Geneva/Switzerland (who are very good). They told me that the fuse either needs to be recalibrated or replaced (verbal quote around 600...

Car won't charge at 120v wall outlet or Chargepoint level 2

I just had EXACTLY the same error message 30 minutes ago when trying to charge at my home 380V/16A (note: I am in Europe). I have used my home charge point many times since delivery of the car 8 weeks ago. The car continues charge but the error message keeps on coming up. I called Tesla Motors...

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

I picked mine up March 25th and wheels are same as yours. I suspect that our cars were built in January before spending almost 8 weeks in transit... Maybe newer builds are no longer staggered. I am thrilled by my Tesla.

Picked up my P85D in Geneva yesterday.... the 5 month long wait has finally been rewarded... what a car !! The Tesla team did a terrific job, great walk-through. They are busy, 9 more P85D's in the shop being prepped for delivery. Will be great to see more Tesla's on the road. Everything seems...

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

MY DS just called.... initial delivery was March 10th in Switzerland, now pushed out to March 26th. Looks like my car was containerised but not put on the ship, and the longshoremen strike in the US, as well as bad weather on the East coast, added further delay. Not great. However, on the...

My DS could not confirm but assumes that next gen seats are in the car. He was never triggered by the factory to make the call. I will know either way in a few weeks .... At this point, I just want to get into the car.

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

VIN 67714 entered production Jan 15th, completed production Jan 16th... seems too fast and good to be true :) Spoke with my DS today, he does not know what seats are in the car, but when I raised the question, he did come with the story about a change in the Next Gen seats in the back "not...

Ignore... just checked the translation from English to French - car "scheduled for production", not "in production"... :scared:
