    Pulsating/Vibration 23 MYLR 65-74 MPH

This could be the tesla model Y lane departure warning. At speeds between 40 and 80 mph, the steering wheel will vibrate if you drift into the next lane (tire touches lane line). This feature is defeatable by changing the setting on your touch screen. See manual (could be in the safety section).

2023 Steering Wheel Vibration model Y

I had the same problem with my new model Y. I was about to take it in to service when I read in the manual that the steering wheel will vibrate at speeds over 40 MPH if you depart from your driving lane without using the turn signal. If one of your wheels touches the lane line, the steering...

Test drove the Model Y, Model 3 and the Mach E back to back to back, yesterday

The Mach E has Apple play, if that is important to anyone. My Tesla M3 does not, but I love the car anyway.

    Why a Y Needs Mud Guards/Flaps

I bought some mud flaps on Amazon about 6 months ago. I'm not sure if the brand can be stated her, but the name has some of the letters shown: Fa****a. It took me about 30 minutes to install all four flaps. The rear rivet was definitely the hardest to push in place. I had to use a piece of...

What percentage of Model 3s are "lemons"

I also live in Los Angeles, Northridge in the San Fernando valley. I've had my Tesla model 3 for over two years, and have had only one service on my driveway. The Tesla mobile van pulled up and the car got a 2 year recommended service: tire rotation, new cabin filter, fluids topped off for...

So.... I rejected my collection car today :(

Sorry for all the problems. What you really want is a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday car. On Mondays, people are still hung over from the weekend.

Tech Improvements Unveiled on Battery Day

I have a couple of questions; 1. since the new 4680 battery takes up 4.8 times the area (21mm dia. vs 46mm dia.), how many of these batteries can fit into say a model 3? Not that this battery will ever be destined for use in the model 3., but you cannot fit 4416, 4680 cells under the floor of...

    Curb rash. Ouch.

I had my car serviced a couple of months back, on my driveway, using the Tesla mobile service. Tired of hitting the curb with my tire rims (I use Rim Blades to reduce the damage), I asked the service tech why do the rims stick out beyond the tire profile. He claimed that is makes the base of...

    Screw you, Model 3

Nicely written Mosby and thank you for your service. I just celebrated the second anniversary of my 40th birthday. I've owned my model 3 LR RWD for over two years. I did not get to serve in the military, instead, I was an engineer working on military projects. I look for reasons to drive...

    Another rejected model Y

I also would have rejected this car Besides several bad panel gaps, there were several paint issues and there seemed to be dust or dirt particles everywhere. My Tesla model 3 was in much better condition when I accepted delivery. Hope you do not have to wait to long for an acceptable MY.

Finding it hard to remain passionate about Tesla

WOW, what a bunch of negative nanny's. I picked up my Model 3 LR RWD on May 31, 2018. A week later I called the service center near me asking to come by the SC and see if they could install my front license plate holder. A real live person answered the phone. I was treated like a VIP and...

    I get it now.....

I lived in Scotts Valley for 10 years (1990 - 2000). Due to a job change, I had to drive to Milpitas over HWY 17 for work. I have a white M3 LR RWD that I picked up on May 31,2018 after waiting 26 months (to the day). I agree that It is best car I have every owned. Enjoy! In a previous post...

    I get it now.....

Mark 75476: I drove Hwy 17 for over 7 years. I had a Honda Prius at the time. After several years of driving along side those large gravel trucks, my wind shield and front hood were badly pitted from the rocks and sand that falls off the trucks. I would suggest that you clear rap the front...

Blog Tesla Horn to Get Custom Sounds – Goats, Farts, Coconuts

I totally agree with you. I paid over 50000 for my model 3 LR RWD without EAP. I would like a software upgrade that gives me adaptive cruise control like most other 50K + cars have.
