    Bluetooth connectivity problem

I have a note 5 and my wife has a galaxy S8 and our Tesla has had issues connecting since day one. It's very random. Sometimes entry works, but starting doesn't. Sometimes entry doesn't work, but media and phone calls do. It's very annoying and I constantly have to swipe my badge for one...

Am I getting hosed on my insurance(Allstate)?

I've had Allstate for about a year and a half. I bought my AWD Model 3 the first week of September and expected I might have to switch. But like you, they offered me a good rate so I stayed with them. I haven't had to make any claims yet, which is when you find out if your insurance company...

    Range during -16 weather

No, turning it off helps with slick road conditions though. I included it just as details.

    Range during -16 weather

Just thought I'd share my experience today driving (and parking) in -16 weather. I started the morning with a full charge of 268 miles and then commuted 28 miles to work. I parked in a ramp for 8 hours and then drove back home. When i got home i was down to 143 miles. So roughly 60 miles driven...

Vendor 3D Maxpider 10% off When ordering Frunk and Trunk w/ Interior mats!

We got ours right before Christmas. We love them so far. Great fit, love the look, and easy to keep things clean! Highly recommend! Also, neither my wife or I care about the large 3D. I hardly even notice it tbh.

    Possible battery issue?

I agree, it's how you look at it. We're describing the same thing but in different ways. And I appreciate you pointing out a better way to look at it!

    Possible battery issue?

Wording it this way is misleading. 124 miles is what was deducted from my original range. It is how we get to the 35 miles lost. What is more important is to know the actual distance traveled, which is 89 miles. I lost 35 miles from the original estimate of an 89 mile trip. We are not...

    Possible battery issue?

The weather outside was around 32-35. I keep the car around 68-70, and mostly keep it shut off once it reaches that. Also, it's a fairly flat drive the entire way.

    Possible battery issue?

Thanks, I wasn't sure about how to calculate the efficiency. I went with 35 miles lost on a 89 mile trip = 35/89. I think the problem is the wording I used. But you are correct, for efficiency I should have calculated the miles used versus the miles that should have been used (124 vs 89)...

    Possible battery issue?

Define what a cold battery is. Because I was charging after driving for over an hour at each stop of my trip, yet was unable to charge over 30kW. So my battery should have been warm when it was being charged. Also, thanks for linking me to that site. I haven't seen it before!

    Possible battery issue?

I traveled 290 miles from the twin cities to Madison Wisconsin for the holidays and had planned to stop at one Super Charger on the way to complete my trip. I kept EAP/TACC at 77 the duration of the trip. Unfortunately, I ended up having to stop at two Super Chargers to make it the entire way...

Bluetooth calling not working in 48.12

You got me. I'm not the senior person for Tesla or Apple lol. I'm also not the senior person at NASA so I guess I can't say that we've really been to the moon.

Bluetooth calling not working in 48.12

As a senior developer/IT consultant, I feel confident in saying this is a Tesla issue and not a Android or Apple issue. How's that? :) I've tried 4 phones and they all have issues connecting to it in one way or another. But they have no issues connecting to any other device. Cars, headphones...

Bluetooth calling not working in 48.12

Let's be clear, this is a Tesla problem not a Samsung/Android problem. My phone works perfect in my other two cars. Also, when I brought it up to the SC, they asked if I had an Apple and then told me they seem to have more issues with Apple phones than Android. Either way, this is a Tesla...

Bluetooth calling not working in 48.12

Almost every update I find I need to delete my phone from the car and delete the phone app, then add back to the car and reinstall the app. Otherwise anything Bluetooth stops working correctly. Samsung Note 5 - that has recently been factory reset and has minimal apps. Still have tons of...
