    Supercharger - Yuba City, CA

Me too. Round trip from the Bay Area to Oroville today. Yuba City would have allowed me to do the trip with one stop instead of two at the Sacramento charger. Oh well. It's still the best damn charging network, and I'm guessing will be for many years to come.

Supercharger - Petaluma, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 V2 stalls)

Yes, it's operational. Charged there yesterday (5/21) and saw 115+ kw. I've charged at this station at least 3 times since they started construction. My advice is to stick to the stalls as close to the transformer as possible. Not scientific, but when I've been in either the first or second...

Is everyone affected by the power steering? Are there some happy people out there?

If you were asking me? I lost Power Steering (not just error messages). Immediately after .40.1 update (second failure). First failure (I think) was immediately after .38 update. Fix both times was a hard reset (disconnect high voltage followed by 12v disconnect) both times done at the SvC. I...

Is everyone affected by the power steering? Are there some happy people out there?

I've had the power steering fail twice. It's non-trivial and not fun. I'm an AP 2.5 currently on 40.1. Waiting another couple of days to watch the fleet update to 42.1 before I do so. I've requested Tesla to provide me with confirmation that I should not expect PS failure when doing the 42.1...

A hard reset is to disconnect the high voltage power, disconnect the 12v power, wait 3 to 5 minutes then reconnect in reverse order.

I was hoping someone who did the OTA update to 42.1 would chime in. Doing the update @ the SvC might mean they still did a hard reset. Again TIA

Has anyone that experienced power steering failure with the .38 or .40 updates done the 42.1 update? If so, did power steering survive the update? Tia

So, when should I start thinking I've got a lemon?

from what I've heard at our SvC there were at least 3 or 4 power steering failures on the first day I experienced it. So not every MX 100. But we aren't alone either. I'm quickly going from 'okay I can deal with a few bugs' to 'this is not okay'. We too own an MS ('14) and the shiny new MX...

So, when should I start thinking I've got a lemon?

Sounds similar to our problem. Loss of power steering? If so, tell the Mt. Kisco ScC to call Dublin CA. It's a 5 minute fix (at least it was for me two times). I know the second time was immediately after a software update. I'm pretty sure the first time was also, but can't confirm that 100%...
