i don't really see it as deceitful. In contrary i appreciate that they provide the two price options so you can better understand the true cost of ownership. I mean its clear straight forward allowing you to click back and forth between the two pricing options.

Yes..so to clarify. So what happens if a software push ..let's say 5 years down the road fails. One could argue that the software is a critical component of driving the vehicle. Is that covered under the 100k/120k warranty?

I understand the 4 yr,50k mile warranty. But since the cars are constantly being updated and so much of car is software driven. Stuff happens and sometimes downloads fail etc etc. What happens in a software issue after the basic warranty? Since this involves the driving ability of vehicle...

I'm in the exact dilemma. I want the extra range of the lr awd but not the extra expense of the second motor. I wish the lr rwd was still available. To me as OP stated, the lr greatly reduces the need for charging for road trips of about 200miles. Which is my most common road trip route...
