    2017 Model S or 2018 Model 3?

I just posted about this in a similar thread. I like the look of the S but I’d choose a 2018 in a heartbeat. We have a 2022 rwd 3, 2019 100D and 2024 X LR all purchased new. Model 3 pros over 75D: 1 pedal driving Much more efficient Better tech and faster computer (screen) Faster charging...

    I've always wanted a Model S.

We’ve purchased a 2019 100D new (inventory), 2022 model 3 RWD custom, 2024 model X LR custom, and have driven an older loaner performance model 3 for two weeks and now a model Y 2020 from Enterprise for the past month. We have family members with 3/Y’s and my old neighbor is an an engineer for...

Refresh S/X instrument cluster customization discussion

Yes but navigation and speedometer are the only options you have on the instrument cluster. Nav is on the big screen as well.

Refresh S/X instrument cluster customization discussion

Our new X LR has been in the body shop for the past few weeks so I've been driving the [Legacy] 2019 MS a lot more. The more I drive it, the more I long for the old instrument cluster customization options (especially the energy graph and tire pressure). Does anyone else here eagerly wait for...

Likelihood of increased accidents due to the stupid horn?

Yeah thanks. The horn button is fine for most driver alert applications, just not emergency situations... Which I suppose is the very purpose of a horn. Sigh.

Likelihood of increased accidents due to the stupid horn?

This happened to me last week. We live on a narrow hill and the car ahead of me decided to reverse right into my car in order to let an oncoming truck pass. 15 feet away I assumed driver would notice my car at some point and stop. I didn't feel it was necessary to immediately honk at my...

    2017 Model X vs 2023 Model X

Have been using the new fob for a while and you just have to double tap the top.

First Impressions 2023 Model X LR

So it’s been a few weeks since I posted this and I have a few updates on what I think of the car. We’re giving our 2022 model 3 lfp away to my parents so there are some things that I’ll miss about the 3/Y design. refresh X vs. 3/Y seats (update): While the seats in the X are still...

Mostly quirks about the touch button haptics. The turn signals don’t always work when I try to press it while turning the wheel and sometimes I have to press it multiple times.

First Impressions 2023 Model X LR

The handling is substantially better on the S I'm noticing a few more flaws and quirks on week 3 which I expected would happen. Are you coming from an older S/X as well?

First Impressions 2023 Model X LR

I completely agree with every statement Carsly2. I still love my non-performance S and it feels even zippier and more nimble after driving the X haha. Say, do you ever miss the X windshield now that you're in the S? I was driving in downtown LA the other day and it was quite enjoyable driving in...

In that case I would just override the selection by swiping up to go forward or select the D on the digital gear selector. It’s not perfect but works most of the time.

We have a standard chaimberlain garage door. I’m not sure which model it is.
