"Unable to DC Fast Charge" Error

Ouch! I wish there were other 3rd party shops here in South Florida that could do work like this. Tesla service prices continue to go up yet their quality of work goes down.

"Unable to DC Fast Charge" Error

Hi all! Consistently getting the attached error message code when trying to supercharge my 2015 Model S. I'm out of warranty now so kind of hesitant to bring it in for service though I do have lifetime free supercharging and would like to continue using that someday. Has anyone seen this...

    Lift Options

@gbailey Do you really need two jacks with the Rennstands or does it just make things easier?

    Lift Options

Hey All! Looking to take a more active approach to maintaining my 2015 Model S where lifting the vehicle is required (especially since Electrified Garage closed their West Palm Beach location and Tesla Service quality has been low while charging high prices in my experience here in South...

Thanks @JayJ that helps! I'll check them out.

South Florida Tire and Service Options

To further clarify, I have the 21" staggered wheels on my vehicle. Several shops I've asked (including where I take my wife's Prius) don't have equipment to work in these. Specific suggestions are welcomed.

South Florida Tire and Service Options

Hi All, I’ve been taking my 2015 Model S to Electrified Garage in West Palm Beach since they opened a few years back for both tire and repair work. They have done an AC compressor replacement, door handle fixes, switches, trunk lift kit install, wrap, rim protectors, tires, and more. Byrone...

    High Mileage Service Options

Thanks again everyone. @NewbyMaybe, what is involved in the battery pack inspection, how much does it cost, and what service shops typically can do it?

    High Mileage Service Options

Thanks guys. My brake fluid was changed about 2.5 years ago when I got new brakes. I think every 2 years is recommended. I got an alignment several years back. I forget when exactly and accessing Tesla service history is one PDF file at a time which isn't very convenient. Wish there was a...

    High Mileage Service Options

Thanks guys. I’ll see what Tesla has to say in their quote and get more detail from the 3rd party shop on what exactly they plan to do. For the coolant flush, I thought Tesla had recommended at some point 4 years 48K (could be wrong and things may have changed). With the brake fluid, I am...

    High Mileage Service Options

Hi All, My 2015 Model S is approaching 130K. I’ve done regular service intervals for the most part and curious what others are doing and how often. Also what service costs you are seeing. There is a 3rd party shop that works on EVs and they gave me the below estimate. - Coolant flush - Brake...

    Diagnosing 2015 S

Thanks for the replies. I took it to Electrified Garage here in South Florida. They determined the AC compressor was bad and are sourcing a used replacement. I have separately ordered the OBDLinkMX+ and adapter cable to use with the ScanMyTesla tool on my Android.

    Diagnosing 2015 S

Hi All, My higher mileage April 2015 Model S is having issues and I'd like to know what options I have to at least attempt to diagnose the problems myself. I understand where the FakraHSD and CAN Bus ports are and how to get to them. With the HSD I believe you need to access Tesla Toolbox...

    Napa Leather Protection

Hi All, Got a 2015 Model S with "NextGen" Napa leather seats. Been using the SwissVax Cleaner and Conditioner products mostly and they work ok but don't seem to help much for friction/creasing of the leather and need to be reapplied every few months. Tesla replaced my front passenger seat...
