    Noisy Windshield Wipers

:) Mine (2014 model) is very noisy (rubber jumping on glass) and smears water back and forth. Wiping is not really happening. I didn't change or condition the stock windshield at all, but I keep it fairly clean.

    Its official !

+ driver here and I can confirm the + is the sportiest of Teslas available. Driving it (air suspension and 21" wheels) on a mountain pass is incredible.

    Noisy Windshield Wipers

If its the blades then yes. Worst wipers I have seen in any car ever. If its the wiper motors/mechanics then no. That would need fixing.

Charging interrupted, restarts after update to 6.2 (v2.5.21)

I think it happens too consistently to too many users to be bad chargers/cables. I even tried with a different charger and have the same result.

Charging interrupted, restarts after update to 6.2 (v2.5.21)

Thanks for the great explanation and sorry for not thinking about looking it up in the firmware thread, stupid me. ;) This really helps put my mind at ease!

Charging interrupted, restarts after update to 6.2 (v2.5.21)

Hi all Right after the update to 6.2 (v2.5.21) late week, my Model S has started to throw a "charging interrupted" message each time it starts delayed charging, then immediately resumes and finishes without an issue. I tried rebooting the car, resetting the delayed charging and power cycled the...

    Frunk Dent Prevention Strategy

Sorry to hear about your new car with a crease. Absolutely report it and have them fix it! I, like others I have heard from, ended up not using the frunk, which is sad in a way...

    6.1

6.1 is currently being rolled out over the air in various countries. I am in Europe and got it yesterday night. And I heard from lots of other Tesla users that they got it as well. It's however being rolled out in stages, so it may take days / weeks for the update to reach users.

    Frunk Dent (Frustrating...)

That's exactly how the Swiss SC taught me. All other ways, they said, are bad. I *love* the term "frunk anxiety" :)

    Frunk Dent (Frustrating...)

And now there is the new Tesla P85D delivery walkthrough video on YouTube, published this December and they instruct the new owner to close the Frunk - once again - the old, wrong way... This topic is a nightmare. Tesla Model S P85D delivery walkthrough - part 1 - YouTube

    Frunk Dent (Frustrating...)

Love the drawing above, but I have to agree with AmpedR. Very few frunks ever get slammed shut and quite a number experience the issue. I for one decided to use the frunk as little as possible and not examine it too closely for the dreaded crease.

    Frunk Dent (Frustrating...)

And take into account that different SCs give different instructions on delivery. Mine explicitly instructed me to only press on the very edges by the headlights and to ignore everything else written or shown in videos by Tesla.

    HPWC vs spare mobile connector?

I decided to buy a sturdy, mobile charger that can go up to 32amps, 400v. It's larger than the UMC (about 4 times the size, weight) and it has a very solid build, stays completely cold to the touch even when charging at 16amps, 400v (the max my home can do). I am using it as my fixed home...

    Frunk Dent (Frustrating...)

Such a crazy thing. I have a September 2014 build as well and it takes quite some force to close the frunk. I was told by the SC to only press on the edges of the frunk where it meets the headlight assemblies. No crease so far, but lost at least a year of my life out of fear of damaging it while...

    Air Suspension Woes

Same here too! When I go over a bump very slowly with the steering hard to the left, I have a "clunk" from the front right. I am keeping an eye on it as well...
